DEVIN
“I thought we’re having lunch?”
Devin hummed, “we are. That’s my property down there.”
I rolled my eyes. Of course, he owns it.
“Whatever, I need to get back before six,” I announced in a contemptuous tone.
“Of course,” Devin answered back as the chopper landed on the beach. Small sand particles were being swept by the rotor blades of the chopper.
Some stuck in my eyes. God, I hate this. I rubbed my eyes after removing my shades. It feels itchy as hell and irritating. The chopper must’ve left because the gusting of wind stopped and the ocean breeze returned to its calming state.
