I could sleep for ten years straight. I’m groggy when Maggie Connor catches me in the corridor. She’s grinning, bursting to tell me some stupid news or other. It’s about a guy, not Hunter, some other stupid stud called Ken she met down at the fish and chip shop. Ken. I doubt that’s even his real name. She tells me he’s built like a bear, and fucks like one, too. The way she talks about him you’d think he was the master of the female orgasm, but she’s full of shit, I can see that now.

I have turned into a Lycan form. Allowing the shock to wash away, I immediately turn my attention to Maggy. She is still pleading for her life and begging Onyx to assist her. “Please, for everything you and I have been through. Please, make her stop.” She begs. I claw across her mouth, allowing the blood to splatter across the wall beside us. “You are no longer permitted to speak or look at the Alpha unless he has spoken to you directly.” I alpha order her and watch as her eyes widen. I snap her arms before tossing her into the far wall, destroying the front door trying to open it, and leaving the shop.

Aiden took a few photos, then came over, bringing them up on the screen. “I like the third one,” I said. “I look constipated in the last one.” Conor snorted. “Okay, we’ll use the third one.” He passed me Milka, then plugged the camera into the laptop and copied the picture into another folder. Then he brought up the browser, went to F******k, and headed to the Dirty J. fan page. Whoa. So, he wasn’t joking about the questions. They had hundreds of notifications and messages, and it looked like they were all asking about Milka.

I cannot believe I did that. My parents have disowned me, and my pack banished me because I tried to reason with them about Vastria. I personally trust everything about Vastria, but those wretched demons. They literally sold her to the vampires. Vile wretched vampires that is going to use her. Meagan was walking back to her apartment she hastily rented when she left her pack. It was already dark. She looked up carrying groceries. The full moon was at its highest.

“It’s not easy being in charge of an entire pack of wolves, and yours is growing so quickly.” I nodded, even though I didn’t think it was growing that fast now. It did at first. Maggie seemed tired of talking about Fionna, and that was fine with me. She ran a hand through her hair and leaned her head back on the headrest for a second. I considered the possibility of bringing up the other topic I wanted to discuss with her, but I was nervous about it. I had the idea that Maggie would do her best to help me, but I also thought, if I started telling her about the situation with Liam, with him dreaming about me, she’d get the whole story out of me, and I’d end up divulging so much information, L
