Then, just like a Disney movie I've seen as a child, a small fawn walks out of the shadows into the sunlight and puts one hoof in front of the other timidly while staring wide-eyed at us. The fawn stands still, unsure of whether or not to approach us. All three of us engage in an intense staring contest for well over two minutes until the baby deer walks towards us.
