The Lockdown Game

The Lockdown Game

Eve said. She came to sit close to him, and she took his hand in hers. She smiled. "I really love your shirt." Elvin grinned. "Thanks. I was scared it wouldn't be your size." "So, the game we are playing, was it like the kind you and Lisa played?" Eve asked. Elvin slightly shook his head. "No. Yours is more complex. More arranged. Filled with more deception and seduction." Everybody was a pawn in this game. The entire city was like a board game. If Elvin tried to flee from her, Eve would lockdown the entire nation, and she knew the right people to call.

A Game Of Revenge

A Game Of Revenge

"We will see who wins first, Brother," He stood up and smirked at me, sparking a challenge I won’t back away from. "Either your revenge... or my extortion?" My smirk also grew wider as I replied strongly, having no intentions of failing. "We will see," He let out a quiet jeering laugh and left me all alone in my undesirable thoughts after starting a lethal game. I stared at the crack in the glass with a blaze igniting in my eyes as I threw the glass away, shattering it to pieces.

The Devil’s Game

The Devil’s Game

Vito said, his voice cutting through whatever daze Aiden had fallen into. Aiden blinked, his eyes refocusing. He looked panicked now, his gaze darting around the room like he was searching for something. His hands fidgeted at his sides. "I– I don't..." Aiden's voice was shaky. "I don't have anything. I work at a bar. I barely make rent. I don't own anything valuable." Vito watched him spiral, finding it almost amusing. Almost.

The Games of the Heart

The Games of the Heart

The air is thick with the scent of desperation and greed. The room is a den of vice, with round tables scattered about, each one a battleground for high-stakes games of poker and blackjack. The green felt is worn and stained, a testament to the countless nights of excess. Stacks of cash and chips tower above the players, their faces set in determined lines, their eyes fixed on the prize. The chandelier above casts a yellowish glow, highlighting the tension etched on their faces. I spot my contact, a man, only a few years older than me, with umber skin and hazel brown eyes, his tattoos on full display.

Awesome! This is the second book I’ve read from this author and it is outstanding! Love this family and their story. Wonderful storyline, written well, held my interest, strong characters, not drawn out and just an amazing love story. Adding you to my favorite list author. Will be reading more.

I loved this book. The grammar and English were great. I’ve partly read and quit several books on there that were literally unreadable. I got a little confused on Andrea’s family not knowing Stefano but it was explained later.

The Ex-wife’s game

The Ex-wife’s game

I pasued, I couldn’t reveal that I knew that he was cheating, now was not the right time, “You ignore my grievances and let your mother and everyone maltreat me, in your eyes I am nothing more than a cash-cow, see you in court.” The moment I said all this I hung up. The woman next to me stared at me in pity, I simply glanced at her with a small smile. I didn’t need her pity. “Are you okay Mrs. Mauve,” a voice asked. I looked up only to see Dr. Dante staring at me with those chestnut eyes of his. I shook my head, I was not okay. “You should come in, let’s start the consultation,” he said with a small smile, I nodded. Dr. Dante Yu is the physician in charge of monitoring my health.

End Game

End Game

“Let’s finish the game.” “He better not start anything,” Declan muttered as we all moved back to our positions. “He won’t,” I cut in quickly. Jackson raised an eyebrow. “How do you know that?” “He just won’t, okay?” I insisted Or at least I hoped so. Jackson didn’t look convinced, but he dropped it. The game resumed, loud and chaotic, but my focus wasn’t really there anymore. Every serve, every laugh, every shout blurred at the edges. Because even when I wasn’t looking at him—I could feel him.

Dangerous Game- Love in the Strangest Place

Dangerous Game- Love in the Strangest Place

"You did it," Alex Henry said, her tone devoid of surprise, a hint of a smile working its way around her lips as Sama Arthur entered the cavernous, dark room. Low, low-grade energy resonated in the air, overwhelmingly different from the mute despondency Sama'd departed at Dean Wason's domain. Ozone and blood-stained metallic from a bygone era filled the air. "Dickson told you'd be here by dawn. Always was a glass-half-full kind of guy."Sama Arthur nodded, her gaze scanning the huge room. It was a derelict underground bunker, a hangover from some bygone industrial era, now reused. Ragtag workstations rimmed the walls, glowing screens casting an unnatural light on the unfamiliar faces of stran

The kinky games they play

And who was the idiot who put that note in the bowl ? The game had started during the filming of the first movie in the series ... we call it 'The cheating game', everyone puts their name in a bowl and in the other bowl is different dares. Then two names are drawn and a dare ... you have to cheat your partner into doing the dare first ... it is usually something like getting drunk as a skunk, sleeping in and being late, singing loudly on set or something else silly. It is usually pretty fun and innocent, even if people tend to get really competitive at times ... but hey everyone is friends again when it is over ... it has always been just fun and games after all.

Blame The Game

Blame The Game

No matter what age or gender can't be spared in the least. Even those who can't protest were caged like animals just so the dominion could use them as they please. What a typical 'conqueror' gameplay. He played this sort of games at times but since he felt this was something that he couldn't handle, he quitted. However, the knowledge and experience of playing such games led him to know some of the important points. One, the big nations always have some sort of feud. Of course, they'd fight for power and influence.

WOLF GAMES

WOLF GAMES

Yang demanded authoritatively. It got damn scary. Horror gripped my mind. Couldn't make a single sound. It was as if I was plunging into the blackness of his inexorable gaze, and the pitiless whirlpool was pulling me into an abyss that has no end and edge, promising that I would stay there forever. And I was drowning, losing myself. Disappeared, forgetting who I am. Vyazla in this quagmire, absorbing so mercilessly and irrevocably. Exactly until I remembered that this kind of thing doesn’t work for me at all.
