THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

THE CEO ALREADY KNEW

The new publisher was a young woman named Eva, who had read the Oracle Letters in university, who had been moved by the story of two women who changed everything. "Why do you keep writing?" Eva asked. "Because they did." "That's not an answer." "It's the only one I have." --- The book was called The Ordinary Hours. Not about grand gestures — about the small things. The coffee. The garden. The hand on your shoulder. The person who stays when staying is hard. I dedicated it to Joana. For showing me that love is not about the dramatic moments, I wrote. It's about the morning light. The shared silence. The choice to be present.

The Gamma's Shattered Soul

The Gamma's Shattered Soul

Chapter 7 Harper The coffee in my hand had gone cold somewhere between Drake explaining that Dominic was in a medically induced coma and him telling me that the Council was already drafting language to classify Marcus's attack as "evidence of demonic contamination spreading through Midnight Moon's leadership structure." I hadn't drunk it since.

Love For A Thousand Years

Love For A Thousand Years

Description written in the books can’t be compared to the things people can actually see. As Hans walked closer to that book, he noticed that it was enclosed in a container. It was very preserved and it’s very clear that among all the things inside, it’s the most valuable. Hans’s eyes widened in complete surprise when he saw the title of the book, ‘King Dominique’s Memoirs’

The Hephaestia Chronicles - Book One

The Hephaestia Chronicles - Book One

"My prince, I am so sorry. Please excuse me. Your father, that is to say the king, ordered a rush on all things relating to the Fellstar Prophecy and because of this and well frankly the lack of seers, I have been rushing around in an attempt to have everything prepared before you got here. Which now I can see was a waste of time as I'm not even half done and you are standing right here." I laugh to myself as the young woman babbles on. "It's fine." I say. "No rush. By the looks of it, it will take me a while to read all of the ones you have here. So if you will just allow me to pick these up, is there a place I can set up to study?" "Y-y-yes" She says and points to a small nook just off the

Her Bloom Isn’t Red Anymore

Her Bloom Isn’t Red Anymore

Piper yawned in reply, curling into a perfect circle atop the books as if she’d just completed a highly productive shift. The bell above the door jingled sharply just before noon. A woman stepped inside, tall and precise, her coat the deep green of frozen leaves pressed tight against her frame. “Do you have anything that feels like winter?” she asked, her voice crisp, deliberate. “Genre?” Aria prompted, tilting her head slightly. “Poetry. Something cold,” the woman said, scanning the shelves with sharp eyes. Aria nodded and moved gracefully toward a narrow shelf, her fingers brushing along the spines until they rested on one. She pulled it free: The Book of Hours by Rilke. She handed it to t

Below them seemed to be normal humans and animals. She wondered where the building the two deities were hovering over was on the continent. She walked to the shelf beneath the tapestry and skimmed the titles. Most of them seemed to be religious books about the deities and creation, but there was one titled The Great Conflict. She pulled it from the shelf and opened it to the first page.

we really have to do this by the book. “Are you sure? You can handle it?” I asked again. She didn’t say anything this time but opened the book and closed her eyes. She moved her hands on the pages and slowly, wherever her hands moved, the words starts to erase. The candles on the sides of the circle ignites and I could only guess Diana was withdrawing the powers from the book. As if concluding my thought, she opened her eyes and they were pitched black holding a pinge of purple. “Hounds of heaven, hounds of hell, hounds of the Earth. Guardians of the door, we summon thee to help us resurrect the fallen son.”

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

Unwanted Omega Of The Lycan King

Unwanted Omega Of The Lycan King

He joked. Zenith’s face clenched but he said nothing. The man snorted and used his hand to urge them inside. Zenith and Mathias entered, glancing around, different things and potions hung around his place. As they ventured inward, Divine sat on his bed. His hair has been trimmed properly but was yet to be packed. He looked up through his golden eyes and noticed Zenith standing at the door, not entering yet. Their eyes locked and unspoken words were exchanged in that exchanged look. Two men... Who crawled out from hell. Alive and healing. Not yet.

"You won't believe the night I had, Ruth. But let's save that story for later and get to work." And so, the day unfolded, a tapestry of moments woven together by Divine's interactions with patrons who found solace in her laughter and warmth. Time seemed to stretch and contract, carrying Divine through the ebbs and flows of human connection. The clock's relentless march heralded the approach of closing hours, a reminder that time, no matter how bittersweet, continued to flow.
