I caught my reflection in the mirror. “How did you get here? You’re a queen, a Goddess, and fighting a war. You just ended a war!” I dropped my head into my palms. “What am I doing? Why? Should I even be doing this?” I fell back onto my soft mattress and curled up, grabbing the blanket. “So nice and warm.” I wrapped up and sighed, relaxing. My vision blurred and I felt light. Oh no... Loud bangs startled a slight shriek out of me. Bright lights, hurt my eyes, so it took a while for me to want to open them again. I covered them instead and waited a few minutes. After a sigh, I opened them.

As soon as everyone else settled with their works, Lexi closed her eyes. “Whatever you see in the mirror, do not respond to it. It might be the reflection of your loved ones but trust me, they have no business entering the world of the living,” Lexi said, looking at the faces one by one in the room. “It could be Mira’s reflection.” Everyone nodded. Lexi pressed her palm against the mirror and began to enchant an ancient language that only blood sorceress understood. Wind was bellowing strongly into the room. Thunders and lightning exploded in the sky. Suddenly, the mirror was engulfed in black flame.

When he pulled his hand out, he was holding a rectangular mirror surrounded by an ornate silver frame. The mirror was about two feet tall, and slightly more than half that in width. The reflective glass was spotless. “Another mirror?” Leesa asked in surprise. “What do I need with another mirror? The one on my wall works just fine.” A sudden thought struck her. “Is this one magic? Will it reverse the image for me?”
