Daniel pulled back the curtain just enough to see beyond the first line of parked SUVs, and what greeted him caused every trace of color to leave his face. Headlights stretched through the forest in every direction, weaving between the trees like an endless river of white, until the darkness itself seemed to glow with approaching vehicles. He lowered the curtain slowly before turning back toward the others. His voice remained calm. Too calm. "They're not sending another team." Everyone looked at him. Daniel swallowed once. Joy's POV Although a larger number of reinforcements from the rogue army came, the Rogue Queen made one mistake. Just one. One teenie tiny one. We can hear the approaching army too and they are chanting their own versions of victory songs, or liberation songs. I get a glimpse of them and they're well prepared. Some of them are on horseback and others have helmets on their heads. It will be a difficult task identifying Alpha Drake. The two armies clash, and all you can hear in the battleground are sounds of metal clashing against metal as swords clash. I pick on some opponents at random but my main duty is to keep the ranks motivated.
