Do Nesta And Cassian Get Together Novels & Stories

It was very peaceful out here but I started feeling anxious waiting on her. We had just met and I didn't like that she was away from me. "When can I meet her?" Lane asked, making me shake my head. "When she is ready to meet you, you heard Brad. She needs time and patience." I replied hoping he would understand. "But I want her too." Lane huffed, making me laugh. "I know you do buddy but we have to be patient and let her ask." I replied. Her scent hit my nose and I turned around to see she was wearing a bright green and blue bikini and I swore my mouth nearly hit the ground. Her skin was flawless and was perfect in every way. Her eyes darkened slightly as she took all of me in and before I kn

Andros says to me and I chuckle because I really have. “You will need to sit down for this.” I tell him and he just looks at me before he nods his head and I follow him inside as I snag Cassian from Lola and he giggles. He is such a sweet natured little man. We all enter the mansion and head out into the back patio area. I sit down with Cassian on my lap and wait for Andros and everyone else to sit down. “Matteo, whatever it is …”

Imagining Cassandra and Racken kissing in the middle of the night, whispering sweet words with each other, makes my blood boil. Damn! “””””” I wasn’t able to sleep as my mind keeps on revolving with what happened last night. Cassandra and I kissed. And we both felt the electrifying ties that connect the both of us—our mate bond. She could never try to get away from that, unless she rejects me and I accept her rejection—which I am certain will never happen.

“Meet back here at ten. Gear up. Get ready. We will leave soon.” Rubio saluted dramatically. “Aye aye, emotionally unstable captain.” Cassian pointed at him. “Keep talking.” Rubio grinned. “I always do.” He and Mara left the room, bickering about who packed the rations wrong. Cassian didn’t follow. He stayed. His eyes slid to me. He stepped closer slowly, hesitant like he was checking if the air between us was safe. “You okay?” he asked. “You keep asking me that,” I said softly.

Like he was looking for something specific. "Actually," Caspian appeared beside me, materializing with that annoying habit of his, "Ari's with me today." Lander's smile didn't waver. "Are you sure? I think it would be educational for all of us to see what our mysterious friend here is really capable of." "I'm sure," Caspian said, his voice carrying that edge that meant he was done being polite. "Interesting," Lander mused, eyes flicking between us. "You two seem to spend a lot of time together. Almost like you're protecting him from something."

Elara stared at the screen, her thumbs hovering. "Ok?" she whispered to her plushie. "Just... Ok?" No emoji, no exclamation point, not even a 'me too.' It was like hitting a tennis ball at a brick wall and having it just thud and drop to the ground. She couldn't tell if he was being a gentleman or if he was literally a robot. Cassian looked at his phone, his expression earnest. He wanted to be honest with her,to let her in,even if he didn't quite know how to be playful or what to say. He just wanted to talk to her more.

Elara patted my back and walked me to the door of the underground studio. "Goodbye, Sera. I hope everything goes well for you and the baby." I nodded, pushed open the disguised back door of the black market, and got ready to leave. The instant I stepped out the door and lifted my head. In the dim alley ahead, a man and a woman were walking this way. Every drop of blood in me froze at once. It was Cassian. And Hailey, on his arm. It was the first time we'd met in five months.

When I was a foot away from them, Adam finally saw me and waved me over. “Hey, I lost you there for a minute.” Boy, you have no idea. “Did I miss something?” Yes, you ass-butt. “Nope, you didn’t miss anything.” He hummed, looking at me suspiciously but I managed to ignore his stare and he finally decided to introduce me. “Zac, this is Cassandra. Nerd, this is my cousin, Zachariah.” I offered a small smile and prayed that the hoodie hid half of my face enough that he won’t recognize me from somewhere and ask me questions.

The second showed him negotiating with Darius’s father. Years separated the two moments.A lifetime separated them and yet Cassian looked exactly the same. I swallowed hard. This wasn’t about how long Cassian had been coming to the Southern Territory. He had been here for training and negotiations. Those things had explanations. What didn’t have an explanation was the man standing in both photographs I looked at the dates again, my fingers tightening around the edge of the older photograph. This wasn’t about how long Cassian had been coming here,it was about how long he had been alive.

It was early morning when they broke apart, each agreeing to meet back after Nathan and Cassidy’s meeting with the other elders. However, they agreed that that was a meeting that Killian, Calypso, Zen, Logan, Hale, Samantha, and Amaya had to be a part of. Cassidy left to head to the kitchen, but her mate pulled her in the direction of their room instead. While their honeymoon had been cut short, they were able to connect in the way that they needed to.
