Do Nesta And Cassian Get Together Novels & Stories

“Listen, Evelyn. I would not bring this up if I did not think it was going to be a good opportunity. It is just like you said. You still have two months left until you have to go to San Francisco, and in the time you are here, unless you agree to let me help you out, you will have to get a job and this is the best offer right now. “Besides, Cassian knows you and he would trust you to take care of his kid, so, that makes the process for getting the job easier than any other you could try for.” I sighed as I thought about the man. Cassian James. Cassian was my brother’s best friend. They had been best friends nearly all their lives, ever since they could talk. Everett grew up with him. While t

I turned to the sound of the voice, and I saw Jason strolling in, and he was coming to me. They immediately parted ways, stopped blocking my path, and retreated their steps. While Jason made his way toward me and I glared at the soldiers who had blocked my path. I took my gaze back to Jason, his eyes were on my luggage and he stared back at me. “Cassandra, just go back.” He pleaded, giving me those sad faces, I wouldn’t have been able to resist them then but it only irritates me now. “Let’s put an end to all of this madness.”

He looked out at the half-dozing Rae, Nova arguing playfully with a boy about who’d actually started the music loop, Elias sprawled across a collapsed bench with an empty bowl on his chest. “This was the foundation,” Cassian said. Aria sipped her drink. “And it didn’t cost blood. Just honesty.” He smiled faintly. “Maybe that’s what made it harder.” She leaned into him slightly not needing support, just a second spine. “I’ve never had this before,” she said. He glanced down at her. “What?” “A place to come back to.” She swallowed. “A who to come back to.” His hand found hers again, fingers lacing without asking.

Slowly, Cassius lowered, kneeling on one leg as he dropped his clothing on the floor beside him before scooting closer. He glanced back up at me before returning it to Kian. And Kian watched Cassius with that registered look of familiarity in his hazel eyes. He clutched onto his brown plushie but said nothing, his eyes holding a look as though he’d held all our secrets for so long but never questioned it. And Cassius, he looked as though he’s finally seen the world for all its mesmerizing beauty. If only I could capture it. He looked more handsome than ever—made me feel like I should have allowed this from the onset, but we had been in a situation back then, one we now knew the real truth of

But that hope started to die the longer I stayed here. Tonight, Valerian came again. He wore a black suit, sharp and smug. I was on the bed, sitting up, tired and weak. He sat across from me, smiling like always. “I have something to show you,” he said, pulling out a tablet. I didn’t move. He pressed play. The screen showed Zarek and Zade. At first, my heart leapt, until I saw who they were with. Cassia. She was standing between them. Laughing. Touching Zarek’s arm like she’d done it a million times before. The camera angle changed, and I saw them toasting with a few others.

By evening, when he finally untied the signs and tossed them aside, both boys hugged him tight. “We won’t do it again,” Orion whispered against his shirt. “But we still miss you when you’re gone,” Azriel added, face pressed to his chest. Cassian ruffled their hair with one rough hand. A rare soft touch. “Then learn to ask next time. Things that aren’t yours stay untouched.” The dizziness faded. Cassian was back in the present meeting. His heart pounded. Azriel’s hand was still high on his thigh, fingers now brushing lightly over the growing bulge in his sweatpants. Orion had just pressed another slow kiss to the sensitive spot under his ear, tongue flicking out to taste his skin.

“I want you both to take me at the same time. I need both of my men in me. I need you both filling me.” Leyla could see the struggle in his eyes. She looked over him and saw Dren sitting to the side, a strained expression marring his natural good looks. He wanted it so bad he could taste it. She wanted to give it to him. She wanted to make them both happy. This she could do. Cassian dropped his head to hers and drew in a deep breath. When he suddenly rolled over, carrying her with him, she squealed. His smile repaired some of the pieces of her heart that had broken away. He looked over toward Dren and nodded.

She would miss Dorian's quietness and Lucian's chaos but now she had all in Cassian, so it didn't really matter. Rhea lifted his face up to meet here. “Don't cry anymore. It's all fine now. Everything is fixed" she murmured. Cassian shut his eyes before opening them again. He felt the pull now, harder than it had ever been before. “I want you" he murmured and rhea smiled. She leaned down and their lips sealed together in a promise of forever. And ever since then, it had only been a few days but it felt like forever. They were living life together. Both of them make choices for the better. They completed the other and they bowed to always be by each other.

“I’ve always been alone.” “Not anymore,” I said firmly. “Look at them. Look at all of us. We’re a team. Always. And if she’s out there… we’ll be ready.” Adrian’s eyes flickered briefly toward me, as though he wanted to argue, but no words came. Later that evening, Cassian experienced what could only be described as a catastrophic emotional meltdown. He had been quietly observing Adrian’s subtle shifts all day, occasionally making jokes, but mostly pretending he wasn’t emotionally invested.

"We don't trust each other, we have a lot to learn before making this relationship serious. This loss was proof of that. We need a good foundation, and we need to build it together. I'm willing. And you?" "Yes," she replied, wiping her tears. "Tomorrow we'll go back to our routine," Cassian announced softly, his eyes expressing a mixture of determination and tenderness. "We'll enjoy the day. You'll go to the store, hang out with Bree and Matthew, while I pick up the girls. We'll spend the afternoon together, the four of us, doing various things." "Okay," Emeraude agreed, allowing herself a weak smile as he kissed her on the forehead.
