"You spend the night out here, bound in the woods." "There's bears out here!" I defend. My true worry is that I'll snap being left with ample time to escape and no way to use it. But what if I could get lose? "And snakes. What are the odds they'd harm you though? They typically avoid anything with human scent, right?" No. I've seen them on our damn porch growing up. "Ok." "Ok?" "I'll do it." "Suit yourself, but you never let me finish."

Bayou Whispers

Bayou Whispers

Large insects scurried in all directions, upset their home had been disturbed. “I think these are snake bite marks,” he said. “But the spacing isn’t right. It’s massive. We don’t have anything this big, even down here. I mean I’ve heard of boas being found in the Everglades—rich people flushing their pets when they get bored of them, sort of thing . . . ”

The Witch Doctor, Hellblades Series Part 1 of 3

The Witch Doctor, Hellblades Series Part 1 of 3

The smell of iron hung in the air, thick and metallic. Then I saw them. Snakes. Dozens, slithering along the carved lines. Their scales were black streaked with glowing red, their tongues flicking as they hissed in unison. I shivered so violently my teeth knocked together. Of all things in the world, I hated snakes the most. Adem coughed into his hand, trying to mask his fear. “Not… too bad.” Adlee swallowed hard, his voice cracking. “Yeah, I’ve seen worse in video games.”

A GIRL FOR THE BEASTS

A GIRL FOR THE BEASTS

We can even level the Lion Kingdom in less than a few minutes. Anindira remembers many bad incidents that occurred in the modern world related to bombs and the statement shocked Hans and Gavriel. ''That's why I asked the three of you to keep the composition of the ingredients a secret. The guano that will be smeared on the tree is just so that no one suspects why we are looking for it. That's just one of the myths in my world. The facts in the field are still unclear whether snakes and reptiles will be affected by the smell. Therefore, no one should know, and I hope, this is the first and last time we use it!''

The Deaf She-wolf: Kaya

The Deaf She-wolf: Kaya

She nodded. When we got to the retail building, she was terrified. She definitely did not like snakes. "We have these beastly things here?" "Well, not all of them; the only ones that are actually dangerous that live here are the rattlesnakes." She stood there and read about it, and she shuddered. "I hate them." She said over the link. The insects and spiders got the same reaction. They creeped her out.

The Long Lost Love

The Long Lost Love

The giant Phyton went back to the river. The amount of blood that spatters to her makes her feel nauseous. Not only her, but Athena also starts to throw up. She really can't handle the smell, and with her condition right now, they are totally at a disadvantage. "Dammit! Now is mating season for the snake. What is worse is, the albino is a female. The male snake only attacks the one who gives a virgin scent." "Shon! Can't you not telling the details so openly?" Rachael bristled while trying to wipe out her body, which is now covered with blood.

Warrior's human mate

Warrior's human mate

I kicked trying to get away from that spot. James burst up from the water, grinning tons. “You jerk!” I splashed water in his face. He dodged, laughing. “I almost had a heart attack! Do you have snakes? Crocodiles?!” He laughed harder. “No crocs. We have snakes, yeah, but they don’t swim. And it’s cold—they’re probably hibernating.” Okay, that was a relief. I hated water creatures. “You id.iot! You scared me so bad!”

Ari

Ari

I used to study different types of snakes as a hobby in my previous life because there were snakes in my hometown, and I found it important to learn which was venomous or not. On the other hand, I was chased by an Alaskan Malamute dog when I was younger, which resulted in me becoming frightened. Snakes, as well as Snake beastman have bad eyesight and don't rely on their eyes. They rely more on their sense of smell, especially when hunting. A red-bellied black water snake doesn't attack arbitrarily unless it is threatened, so I was sure he took me when he saw me taking a bath in my passive form.

Oops, I've Been Exposed

Oops, I've Been Exposed

He scooped the snake into the bottle and tightened the cap. The snake was wiggling around the bottle, trapped. Helen asked with a pale expression, "What is that, Mr. Henderson?" Woody set the bottle down and said, "It's a golden snake parasite. It's one of the most venomous creatures in Greka. People would put their eggs into beverages or food. The victims would ingest the eggs without knowing, and these eggs would hatch inside their stomachs." "I knew someone was trying to harm my father!" Helen's expression turned vicious, with clear bloodlust in her eyes.

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

"You said the river suddenly turned like this a month before?" "That's right," the snake answered. Aria continued asking, "Is there any difference in the river water compared to before?" The black snake shook its head before looking up. "Actually, yes. It no longer tastes fresh." The river water wasn't fresh? Aria narrowed her eyes. The river still looked clean on the surface, but animals had keener senses than humans. If the snake said it didn't taste fresh, then the issue lay in the water's quality, not its appearance. But the nearby factories didn't produce any known pollutants, and there weren't any other signs of contamination.

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!
