Rescuing His Enslaved Luna Queen

Rescuing His Enslaved Luna Queen

Sylvia turns away from him and wraps her arms around her knees, while Beta Wilson reaches forward tentatively like he wants to comfort her but doesn’t know what he could possibly do. I want to say something–to break the uncanny quiet, to maybe help them start communicating again–when I suddenly catch a strange scent. I frown, wrinkling my nose. It’s not unpleasant, exactly, but it’s noxiously sweet and almost sickly, like bitter acid mixed with sugar and then lit on fire. A sense of unease creeps along my spine. Something about the smell makes me instinctively cover my nose with the top of my dress. “Do you guys smell that?” I ask, voice muffled in the wad of fabric.

He Chose My Step-Sister and I Chose His Step-father

He Chose My Step-Sister and I Chose His Step-father

I rolled the door to the side. “Her assistant was supposed to be…..” She paused as she looked into the room in awe. “...here.” she finally completed, scanning the room, her eyes on high alert. “What's wrong?” “I’m not sure. But I know I smell….” I took a deep whiff of the air. The bleach and antiseptic did so little to hide the metallic tang that pierced the walls of my lungs, making my nose wrinkle slightly, “Blood.” I completed her sentence.

Obsidian Vow

Obsidian Vow

The hallway stinks of bleach and piss. It burns the back of my throat every time I breathe in, a sharp chemical reek tangled with mildew, stale cigarettes, shit soaked deep into carpet that should’ve been ripped out years ago. The kind of smell that never really leaves a place. It settles into the walls. Into your hair. Into your skin. Into people.

The Billion-Dollar Payback Plan: She Woke Up Richer Than The

The Billion-Dollar Payback Plan: She Woke Up Richer Than The

I walked slowly toward the living room, the floor creaking under my feet, my breath catching in my throat as I glanced around. It was too clean. Like hotel-clean. Like someone had bleached the soul out of it. There was a faint chemical tang still hanging in the air—harsh, acidic, unmistakable. Bleach. My heart dropped. The couch cushions were fluffed. The coffee table gleamed unnaturally. Even the faded rug looked scrubbed. I turned in a slow circle. It was too clean. Too perfect.

Where My Scent No Longer Belongs

Where My Scent No Longer Belongs

Or some powerful figure concealing their identity for reasons of their own. I open my mouth to refuse help. To say I'm fine, because that's what I always say. Instead, darkness rushes up to meet me. My vision tunnels. Narrows to a pinpoint. I pitch forward and lose consciousness completely. When I wake, I'm staring at an unfamiliar wooden ceiling. Smooth grain. Warm honey color. Not the sterile white of the Pack medical center. The air smells incredible. Cedar and something else. Something clean and wild that makes my wolf Lucy uncurl from her defensive ball.

Tasha begins, “We had the scent and then it just poof, disappears. This is where we lost it. Channing is down there checking to see if he can pick it up anywhere else.” I lift my head and begin sniffing. “I smell candy. But, like sickeningly sweet candy. The kind that gives you a cavity just by looking at it.” I saw crinkling my nose. I have as much of a sweet tooth as anyone but what I’m smelling here is too much. “Ugh.” Bree says, making a face like she’s seconding my take on it. “Is this the same smell you picked up earlier?” Raul asks. He looks like he’s trying to breathe through his mouth and not his nose, leaving me to assume he finds the scent off-putting, too.

Fake Amnesia, Claimed by My Ex’s Brother

Fake Amnesia, Claimed by My Ex’s Brother

I stepped onto the dock boards and I took a deep breath, testing the air like a hunting wolf. And the first thing I noticed was the smell. It was wrong. A port should smell like salt, wet wood, fuel, rope, and rust. This one smelled like bleach and fresh paint. New oil had been rubbed into old boards. Kaela inhaled once. “She cleaned it,” she said. I pushed my senses out, searching for my mother’s trail but there was nothing, not even a weak trace. Kaela came close and touched my arm once, a quick anchor. Then she looked for a worker who would talk.

I wrinkled my nose, pulling open the washroom cabinet door to get some bleach. Alex sniffed loudly and said, “It doesn’t smell any different than usual. Are you sure you’re not just smelling things?” “No, it’s awful!” I replied. “Cleaning so early in the morning?” Alex’s mom was at the door of our washroom, peeking in as I was pouring bleach into the toilet bowl and getting the cleaning brush out. “Mom, what are you doing in here?” Alex asked. “The door was open. Anyway, it’s not like I haven’t already seen what you two get up to.”

this is the second book that I have read from this author. the first book was amazing. the second book is just as amazing. the author develops your characters in depth. also unlike some of the books on this app she edits very very well. I would recommend reading anything this authorized writes.

This book is already so much better than the first. I'm hoping that Jasmine doesn't remain a doormat with Lucy and she gets her comeuppance. I also hope Luke regrets his decision and becomes jealous. Jasmine deserves better than those 2. love Blake! Talia and Alex story definitely intriguing.

Drop-Dead in Love

Drop-Dead in Love

"What is that smell?" Usually, if someone stood in front of your bathroom and asked you about a certain smell, it would be best if you shoo that person away. However, that wasn't applicable to this moment now. Kat knew that the stench wasn't from something natural, albeit embarrassing. What she didn't know was how to explain it in such a way that wouldn't come across as suspicious. "Er, it's bleach," she said at last. "I've been . . . mega-cleaning the bathroom."

That makes my frown grow deeper and next thing I'm walking faster to see what's happening on the inside. The place is dark I would probably trip and fall if it isn't for the provision of midday light illuminating rather dimly into the open space by the extended half-glass walls on the other end of the bakery. My nose scrunches up a bit when I inhale a whiff of the mild smell of bleach mixed with a tropical air-freshener. My tummy cringes in correspondence to my nose at the imbalance of the smell. Someone's been in here. Or better still, people have been in here.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why Does Vaginal Discharge Smell Like Bleach? A vaginal discharge that smells like bleach, chlorine, or ammonia can be surprising or concerning—but it’s not always a sign of something serious. This odor often results from harmless changes in the body but can sometimes indicate an infection or underlying health issue. Here’s a breakdown of the most common causes and what you should know: Common Causes of a Bleach-Like Vaginal Odor 1. Concentrated Urine (Dehydration) When you’re not drinking enough water, your urine becomes more concentrated and may produce an ammonia-like smell. This odor can linger on underwear or the vulva, mimicking a bleach-like scent. 2. Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) BV is the most common vaginal infection in women of reproductive age. It occurs when the balance of “good” and “bad” bacteria in the vagina is disrupted. Odor: Often described as “fishy” or chemical-like, and may worsen after sex.

Other symptoms: Thin, gray or white discharge, itching, or burning during urination.

3. Trichomoniasis (STI) Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted infection (STI) caused by a parasite. It can cause discharge with a strong, unusual smell. Odor: Foul, possibly bleach-like.

Other symptoms: Greenish or yellow discharge, itching, irritation, or discomfort during sex.

4. pH Imbalance The vagina maintains a naturally acidic environment (pH ~3.8–4.5). Hormonal changes, semen, menstruation, or use of certain products can disrupt this balance, sometimes resulting in a chemical or bleach-like smell. 5. Hygiene Products and Soaps Using scented soaps, douches, or strong detergents may alter the vaginal microbiome or leave residue that causes a temporary chemical odor. 6. Rare but Serious Causes Rectovaginal fistula: An abnormal connection between the rectum and vagina can cause chronic odor and discharge.

Foreign objects: Forgotten tampons can cause an intense, foul smell resembling bleach or chemicals.

What You Should Do ✔ Stay Hydrated Drink plenty of water daily to dilute urine and reduce ammonia buildup. ✔ Avoid Irritating Products Skip douches, heavily scented soaps, or vaginal cleansers. Wash gently with warm water and mild, unscented soap (externally only). ✔ Monitor for Other Symptoms Look for signs like itching, burning, pain, abnormal discharge color, or discomfort. These can help identify if an infection is present. ✔ Seek Medical Evaluation If the smell is strong, persistent, or comes with other symptoms, consult a healthcare provider. They can perform a pelvic exam or lab tests to determine the cause and recommend treatment.

When to See a Doctor Immediately Sudden onset of a foul or chemical odor

Green, yellow, or gray discharge

Vaginal pain, bleeding, or fever

Symptoms that persist for more than a few days

Summary A vaginal discharge that smells like bleach is often linked to dehydration or pH changes but can sometimes point to infections like BV or trichomoniasis. While occasional odor changes are usually harmless, any persistent or unusual smell should be discussed with a healthcare provider to rule out infection and get proper treatment.
