/ He laughed loudly, swinging his bat and hitting brittle objects in the fancy hotel. He is a Death Angel, his name is Draven Black. A modern-day grim reaper, wearing not a cape but a black emo suit with a pair of black wings to fly. He does not have a scythe, he has a bat for beating humans. His look is completed by black hair and an upside-down cross hung in his left ear.

He explained. “I see….” Replied Azriel. “But then, how do you know he exists?” He handed her a booklet titled, “THE TRUTH ABOUT THE ANGEL OF DEATH “, and then showed her a video interview of Professor Allen Wake. In the video, the host told him she found out only a few weeks ago that there was a serial killer who called himself the Angel of Death, and had already brutally claimed the lives of about 45 people, and the police having a difficult time keeping up with him. She asked Allen if he thought the serial killer was who he was going to talk about in his conference.

Mason's POV: "ANGEL!" My blood ran cold as I rushed towards her lifeless body. Cradling her head in my lap, I took in her unconscious form, panic setting in my bones, as I watched her lie there, unresponsive. "Angel!" I called out again, in hopes of seeing her open her beautiful eyes. Holding her face in my hand, I gave her cheek a slight tap only to find out her face was flushed and hot to the touch. I realized she had a high fever.

Only the glow of the bulb behind him cut through the shadows, revealing his silver coloured hair. The dark angel. Angelo De Angelis. A man knelt before him, trembling and bleeding. Whispering prayers in a language he didn't care to understand. Finally he stood and walked forward, each step deliberate, echoing like judgement. Then he paused, gloved hands tucked behind his back and black coat brushing his boots. Cold blue eyes stared at the man in front of him. No emotion, no hesitation. It was just calm, patient, unblinking and deadly. The man chained to the wall trembled and whimpered. “P-please… I didn't know…I…I didn't —”

Angel immediately shook her head and held Dave who was about to get up to actually take her to the doctor and do a re-examination. "No, it's not like that!" said Angel. "Sit down and let me explain." Dave's body looked tense, though he was trying to remain calm. “I don't know because I haven't checked the results,” Angel explained, then slid her hand under the pillow to pull out a white folder with the logo of the hospital where she checked earlier. “Is that—?” "This is the result!" exclaimed Angel with forced enthusiasm, because she was actually very nervous. "Why don't you open it straight away?"

After no response, I whipped around. There was David standing over Akira and Cassidy's unconscious bodies. His red eyes sent a shiver down my shine. They were cold; murderous...like he was only a shell of a being. An evil smirk slowly spread across his face. "Ahh Dante, you all are here just in time." What the fuck was he talking about? Here for what? "While my little Angel is inside, I'm going to kill you, and she'll have no reason but to join us." Angel, get out of there!

A couple of wafers of ambrosia fell out on the floor as I hunched down, screaming as my fingers blackened. Underneath was tanned skin, and I couldn't tell if that was a good or bad thing. An ear fell off, and Daniel looked like he was going to vomit. "Oh fuck this!" Angels, as a rule of thumb, did not reveal their true selves when humans were around, alive or dead.

It was her fate. “Dismissed,” Angel muttered, and the doctor quickly started packing what he came with and rushed out of the room, closing the door. He heaved a sigh of relief, knowing he survived death.

I had never paid attention to it. “I know these things,” he continued quietly, “because I was her doctor. I was the one attending to her before she died.” My lips trembled and my hands felt cold. He leaned closer as his eyes narrowed as if he was trying to piecing a puzzle together. “So I want to ask you directly, Angel…” His voice was calm but serious. “Are you who you say you are?” Then Daniel slowly turned to mother, his gaze firm and suspicious. “And are you really her mother?”

When Angel finally reached them, Tony leaned closed and whispered loudly in his ears. “I almost came, amore… watching you crawl.. God, you look so fucking sexy.” Don Leon sighed like the weight of three generations disappointed him. “Dammit Antonio, stop talking like that to my doctor.” Angel blinked. “Doctor?” “I’m hiring you now,” the Don said. “..to be my personal doctor, once you graduate.” Then Don Leon added, muttering, “Once I’m not dying.”
