Both Alex and Cheryl froze. Alex asked James, “Old man, who is this old fart? He actually opened his mouth and demanded Ganoderma?” Before James could open his mouth, that old man said cockily, “Who are you calling old fart, you brat? Did your parents not teach you to be polite to your elders? I’m Darven Mikail, also known as the legendary doctor. You can call me Legendary Doctor Mikail.” Alex took two glances at him and shook his head. He didn’t say anything but let out a sigh.

He drinks a serum so he can do evil things.”

"Go puke on yourself, Derek." I left him standing there and walked toward Dr. Owen's office. With every step, my heart beat faster. I stopped outside his door, staring at the nameplate. Dr. Owen Prescott, Chief of Surgery. I swallowed hard and knocked. "Come in."

After all, she did look like she was alright. The room was quiet for a while, except for the sounds of herbs being ground and a low hum of machines the Doctor was using. Freya had introduced him when I walked in but I had been too distracted by her to register his name. I only caught that he was from a different pack that had broken off. "So, you learned from him?" I pointed across the room at the doctor staring intensely at a clear mixture in a small bottle as though trying to see the elements that it was made up of.

Five minutes later, a petite blonde haired woman ushered him into the doctor's office. "Morgan Drake I presume? Thank you for coming. Please have a seat." Morgan sat down in a comfy single sofa. He glanced around the tastefully decorated room and finally settled his gaze on the doctor that sat across him. In spite of his age Doctor Seymour Moriarty had a full head of grey hair and a moustache that almost rivalled his head of hair in terms of volume and colour intensity. He wore a tawny brown two-piece suit, a white shirt, black-tie and black brogue shoes that were well polished.

“So not to make things awkward but would you mind telling me your name?” I ask scratching the back of my head, the doctor bursts out laughing at the fact, my mate smirks looking at me “Drake, drake moon” “7, double O 7” The doctor teases, drake glares at him as I laugh shaking my head “You realise its bond, James Bond, right?” I ask all out laughing as his face flushes red. Drake snorts, laughing with me

“He’s dying, Craig.” Craig glanced over his shoulder at Dr. Stanley Jeffers, chief resident. Tall, gaunt, with bloodless lips and a black widow’s peak, he looked like a classic Universal Movie Mad Scientist instead of country hospital doctor. Craig shivered. Dr. Jeffers had freaked them all out as kids, and Craig imagined that no matter how many peppermints he distributed when treating pediatrics, Dr. Jeffers still freaked all the kids out. Craig’s scalp burned. And he thought he smelled Old Spice, Pop’s favorite cologne.

And those eyes—dark as river stones but somehow full of light, like they were backlit by something I couldn't see. "I am Dr. Tenzin Norbu," he said again, his accent thick but his English clear. Each word came out carefully shaped, like he was offering them as gifts. "And I see I have interrupted a very important family moment." Alexander lifted his tear-stained face from Kyle's chest. "Are you the wizard doctor?"
