I frowned as he averted his eyes. "Doctor Vina." Tita uttered. I stood up when the doctor approached. Even Arnaiz and I approached us to find out if the doctor had anything to say. She forced a smile. He looks kind but I don't know why there is something inside me that is not comfortable when I see him. Is there any wrong with her? Or maybe I have a problem with it? "I'm just here to check your vital signs. But you don't have to worry because just after a few days, he can be discharged."

He shook his head. "No. This isn't an interview." Interesting. "Then what exactly is it?" His mouth curved slightly, but there was no warmth behind it. "I simply wanted to meet the doctor everyone has been talking about." I remained silent. "The formidable Doctor who managed to take the life of her own father," he continued. "It's interesting. Doctors are usually known for saving lives." For a moment, I simply looked at him, not because I was surprised. Because I was measuring him. People revealed themselves in small moments. His face was covered in scars, but his smile was the same one that had saved me a thousand times. "Miss me?" Bryan asked. But before I could grab him, a red laser dot appeared on Bryan’s forehead. I looked up at the black platform. The Doctor was holding a high-tech rifle, his finger on the trigger. "If I can't have the key," the Doctor hissed, "no one can." The gun fired.

Steele,” he greeted. I noted that he didn’t greet me by my mated last name nor my title, which pissed me off even more. “I am Doctor Woodford, one of Alpha John’s head physicians. How are you feeling?” His voice was slow and almost condescending.

I had almost forgotten the main reason why I went back. "Who the heck is this Doctor Sony, do you guys know him?" I sighed. Anne looked at me confused, "Doctor? Are you sure that person is a doctor? I have never heard of anyone named Sony and I know almost all the Doctor in the tri-state area unless of course, this one is from another country." I groaned when Tony and Tine said they did not know such a person as well.
