Malachi and Richard had barricaded themselves inside the stone building, surrounded by mercenaries using ballistic shields and rifles loaded with wolfsbane ammunition. Silas and Jax led the frontal charge, lupine bodies colliding against metal with a deafening crash. Dante leapt over a burning vehicle, landing among three hunters. His movements were a blur of lethality; he didn’t just disarm them—he eliminated them with the efficiency of a predator who had nothing left to lose.

Hunter panicked fearing he would kill Michael so he lowered his gun and crawl to him amidst that rain of smoke and fire. “Boss, stop it’s Dad. Let me handle it.” He whispered to Dylan but nothing worked. The man was consumed with bloodlust. Failing to convince him, Hunter had no option and engaged in that bloodbath. He had sworn his loyalty to Dylan, he can’t let anyone come in his way even his own father. The loud sound of gunshots echoed in the forests for a very long time but it ended the moment Dylan staggered to the ground.

“Exactly. And I'm here to protect everyone. What's the issue here?” As I engaged in a tense dialogue with the hunter leader, I noticed Xander examining their equipment from his hidden position. His eyes opened wide when he noticed a symbol on one of their cars – a fancy eye inside a triangle. He looked at me and gave a small nod. We'd seen that symbol before, in old books about supernatural hunters. This was no ordinary group.

My stomach dropped. "What?" He nodded. "I hired investigators to find you after you dared to run from me that morning. It took them a week to find you." Something was slamming hard against my rib cage in a really violent way. I knew what it was. My heart. "I found out who you were—Matteo Leone, a twenty three year old bisexual man, living in your father's house like a prisoner." He leaned forward slightly. "I learned everything about you—your urm... useless family, and your situation within hours of funding you."

I breathed hard, dragging my body up as I crawled forward on all fours like a fucking dog. I didn't stop, didn't even look back, not even when the air around me stiffened. Not even when the animals went quiet and the trees froze as though they had held their breath. Because deep down, I already knew what this meant. Growing up, I heard stories, rumours by the other slaves about the Hunter's Territory. No one dared to cross last this line, not even Alpha's or Betas and especially, not Omegas like myself. This land belonged to someone or something more deadly and mysterious.

I nodded to Xavier, he had every right to hate me, and if that made him feel better, then I would take it. I closed my eyes as he raised the knife and waited for him to plunge it deep into my chest. RHETT Down one tunnel that leads to another, opening up into a cavern of stalagmites. His shoulders slumped as he quietly accepted all her scoldings. She was pretty mad and he expected nothing less. Such big decisions were always very important to her. Though she was a human, she adores the mate bond a lot. Hunter calmly and gently explained to her why he did that and what could happen and everything. She finally calmed down a little and thankfully Xander came to his rescue. Once Emma and Xander left his room. Lennox barged in. Hunter pulled to his feet. Charging forward he tried to punch him but Lennox dodged with his magnificent speed.
