This was a hunter’s trap and just not any kind of hunter, but a fanatical hunter. Hunters were humans who sought to protect humans from the supernatural and fell into two groups. The guardians who hunted the crazed and murderous supernaturals. Someone like me had nothing to fear from the guardians. Like how actual witches didn’t need to worry about being burned at the stake and all that, but being tied to one was still freaking annoying.

His voice sounds increasingly angry with each word . " Which part ? " I scoff . " All of it . I could never kill Diana even if someone took my soul and replaced it with a hunter's ! Hunters are said to be humans with above average abilities , their only aim is to rid the world of supernatural species , more often than not , they tend to go for werewolves and vampires the most . He couldn't even stand. Just when it looked like the ragdoll was going to beat him to death, it suddenly stopped and grabbed my hand. Then it used my fingers to lift the knife he had dropped and plunged it straight into his heart. The familiar system chime echoed. I couldn’t see him accepting the fact that the supernatural existed, let alone the fact that I was a hunter. The only time I’d even so much as nearly broached the subject was when one of our housemates had put on an episode of Supernatural. Harper had watched it with shrewd eyes, and an amused quirk to his plump lips, as though he was curious but wary. In fact, he’d brought it up for further discussion when we’d gone upstairs to bed, and I’d toyed with the idea of telling him everything. I had a springboard, but I was too scared to take the leap.
