The moon goddess chose wrong: twice
I was going to find Dexter's killer, no matter what it takes, the memory of being told he was dead, and how I saw him he was cold and pale, like a shell of the Alpha he used to be.
It was quite sad, right when he was turning Good and going to help save thousands.
The killer was clever he made sure he left no trace, no footprint leading back to him and he planned this to put me in a spot.
Keep the trial going without a witness and Dexter's testimony or I'll tell everyone he was dead.
“Enzo,” Max said.
I looked at him.
“Dexter is dead,” he said, reminding me that I was about to get pissed but I calmed down to listen to him.
