Bikes were open and a great way to work my legs when I couldn’t shift with humans around. Inside the truck was an anxious dog, it looked like a pit mix. He was nervous, locked up in a truck with a predator approaching. He started to whine and cower. Lucky he was inside, otherwise he would have bolted like most animals do on sheer instinct. See not a chihuahua, she might like me more than you. Dane was gloating. He was impossible when he was right.

"Hey, do you want to get back at the man who hurt you?" Logan spat out a mouthful of blood and looked up at me with alarmingly bright eyes. "Yes." A vicious smile curled on my lips as I lazily tilted his chin up with the toe of my shoe. "Then become my lapdog, and I'll give you everything you want." Logan lowered his head and fell silent. Just as I grew impatient and was about to turn away, he reached out and grabbed my ankle. "Woof." From then on, Logan became my most devoted lapdog.

He doubled over, howling. “Collars,” Ethan ordered. Anna’s fingers worked fast, unbuckling the dogs. Chains hit the floor. She knotted one around the nearest hinge. “If they kick, they’ll think it’s jammed,” she murmured. The dogs circled her now, wary, reading the unspoken command under her voice. One pressed close to her leg, as though confused which side it belonged to. Another swung wide, gaze cutting back to Ethan as if measuring him. Both animals recognized what their handlers never had: strength you don’t leash.

They were turning the pages as quickly as possible to find any reference to this creature until they found a page titled ‘Black Dogs’ It had drawings to the creatures in it and when shown to Rory he would yelp in disbelief, the look on the page was so detailed. The book read: Black Dogs are a sign of great problems to come, they only act at the behest of hell and the one that summoned them. Black Dogs are giant hounds bred on the lower levels of Hades, they reach 46” in height, and with big and athletic builds, their teeth are large and sharp and always in display, and their tails are long and thick as workers' rope. Their eyes are red and orange like a flame as if their spirits were flamed

Edwin notices a book in one of the corner and it was so hidden and he was so curious to know what he it carried. He slowly goes to the corner and grabs it, it was tied with a leather rope and this meant that it was so special. He opened it slowly and cleaned the dust out of it. It was an ancient book that contains diagrams and illustrations about the wolf community and special skills they owned and how to attain them. It seems to be a very exciting book since for a wolf member to realise his special ability you was to use this special guide book that was written by their ancestors. It was a very special book end it was used mostly during practices bye the wolf community only.

"What the hell are you doing in my apartment? How the hell did you even get in? Are you a locksmith are something? Or can you just pick locks like any other normal person??" She sarcastically said and glared at me, her eyes pierced through my self-confidence. Sahana put Amiga down and she raced towards me, jumping up and down, her paws on my leg. "Hiii girll!!" I smiled. Then came Sahana's dog, all big and fluffy with his multicolored fur. He came up to Amiga and rubbed himself against her. Huh? What's going on between those two? Amiga didn't even mind it. I sat there, staring at them wide-eyed, confused.

Looking good tonight would give her ego a boost if nothing else. Aiden was home promptly at six. Amaya was curled up on the sofa, flipping through the coffee table book by an extremely popular photographer, which she had just purchased on her afternoon excursion. He was a wildlife photographer but his subject matter this time round was a lot closer to home. His latest anthology, entitled "Man's Best Friend" was all about dogs. Amaya, being a huge sucker for dogs, hadn't thought twice before buying the book.

Dante asks as we follow at a distance. This time, I keep my pace with Dante's so that I keep my distance from Chelsea's group. She is really running quickly with all of her group with her. Soon though, one of the pups with bright red paws begins to outdistance all of the others. Chelsea tosses the book to that pup as the rest follow as quickly as they can. "I guess that the theory about where the red is located on their bodies just might be accurate." Dante says with a snort.

The smell was stronger now—unwashed fur, hunger, and exhaustion. I pushed through a final line of bushes and stopped dead. The dog was huddled near the base of an old oak. It was a husky, but she looked terrible. Her coat was matted with burrs and mud, and I could see the sharp outline of her ribs through her thinning fur. She looked up as I approached, her bright blue eyes wide with a mix of fear and defiance. She didn't run. She stood her ground, her hackles rising as she stared at the massive wolf looming over her.
