Lorenzo, Mariano, Gianna, each one silent, watching as the screen bloomed to life. A chamber bathed in candlelight appeared and there he was, Donatello. His face, once polished cruelty, was now distorted. Berlin had marked him. Scars webbed across his left cheek and jaw. The flesh had been stitched poorly, cruelly. But his eyes… those hadn’t changed. Still glacial. Still dead. He smiled. “Hello, Talana.” Gianna recoiled. Lorenzo’s knuckles whitened on the desk. “I was going to send roses. But fire seemed more fitting.”

Martin gripped his hand and struggled to free himself, but the mafia boss was not about to let him go easily. Martin's entire body stiffened, his hand dropped, and his neck shifted to one side of his head. When Donatello noticed this, he left him to fall to the ground. But instead of falling, Martin immediately spun around and plunged a pen-knife into Don's lower abdomen.

Kevin asked. “Well, I was thinking about the water and electricity; what do you guys think?” Alessandro asked. “Whatever you want, Mancini,” they said together. He began questioning Donatello. “Why did you go after my wife?” he asked again. “Haha… I want to fuck her so hard that she won’t be able to trust another—" Before Donatello could finish, Alessandro poured water over him and took the electric cable. “I’m going to fucking kill you!” Alessandro shouted. Donatello just laughed as Alessandro shot him in the leg.

Donatello yelled. That was the first time I ever saw Donatello angry. He usually went along with everything Nathaniel and I did, so I was downright terrified when I heard him yell. I know Nathaniel was too, but he didn’t budge. Donatello approached him and Nathaniel pointed his sword at him. Donatello hit his sword away and Nathaniel swung at him.

Donatello fell in the floor and the blade was dropped. Soon after that, Miller took the dropped blade. Miller was more skilled that Donatello in the way of fighting. So there was no way Miller would lose against that boy. Miller quickly charged toward Donatello and stabbed his back. Donatello screamed as the blade pierced on his back. Miller’s attack did not end that fast. Knowing that his wife was dying and also his destroyed brewery, he expressed all pf his anger and madness at Donatello. Miller mercilessly stabbed Donatello several times and did not give him a break.

"Long time no see." My whole body went rigid. Donatello, who had been slumping against the wall, suddenly tensed. His eyes, which had been weak and unfocused, now blazed with a terrifying, murderous light as he saw the man behind me. "Tom," he growled. "Let her go." I was in shock, my mind a complete blank. I knew who the man behind me was—Tom Salvatori, the underboss of the Salvatori family. His men had attacked me before. Donatello had put a price on his head, but he’d obviously escaped and found me.

A huge lump formed in my throat as I reared backwards in shock before looking down to realize that I was naked, with just a duvet covering my body. I looked back at him to see that he was butt-naked too, with the sheet in between us covered with blood.
