*** Writer's POV; Dora made her way into the hospital building looking around, deep down she was praying someone didn't see her. After what happened the other day she hasn't been coming to work. Wondering who the nurse is? She's Dora, Alisha's friend back in the Greyhound pack. She just resumed work at the hospital two years back. At first, when Henry suggested he kill the Alpha he agreed because of what Darien did to her friend, but after giving it a second thought she refused the offer. This wasn’t just some patient, this was danger wrapped in fragile flesh, a secret bleeding into my territory. A few more moments, and then the door swung open. Dora stepped out, wiping her hands nervously on her apron. Her face was tired, etched with exhaustion, but her eyes shimmered with a flicker of something else—hope, maybe?

Once Dora is determined the way she is right now, even the moon goodness can not change her mind. The Whales got there some hours back, as Ellie ordered Andy to show them the pack hospital wing. Ellie knew Lilly was in the play room for the pack children, she stood up and walked up to Dora. “They are not here yet” Dora said worried “Calm down, Dora, Lucas said they will be here soon” Ellie told her friend putting a hand on her shoulders “One thing I know for sure is that they are all safe and on their way home, so be patient enough for them”

But I nodded anyway, urging him to continue. "He is uh..." He paused then, swallowing hard; a clear sign that whatever he wanted to say next was pretty hard for him. "Well, he's sick. Ice-cold water crashed over my head, shocking me awake. My back stung as the water hit the open lashes, and a violent shiver ran through me. My teeth wouldn’t stop chattering. Luca stood in front of me, face dark with anger. “Helena almost suffocated just now. The doctor says she was scared. What did you say to her?” I coughed twice, more blood slipping from the corner of my mouth. The metallic taste clung to my throat.

Sebastian came to kneel behind her and asked, as he embraced her, “What’s wrong? Are you sick?” Sakura raised her head, tears in her eyes. “I don’t know. I just suddenly feel sick and want to throw up.” Darcy frowned and asked, “You haven’t caught a fever, have you? Infection?” Sakura shook her head. “Not that I know of.” Sebastian said, “Then we should make an appointment for you to see the doctor.” Sakura nodded. “Okay.”

Tears she had been holding back finally spilling over. “Huh?” Instead of answering, Dory slapped her arm. “Eat something and take your medicine.” “W-What happened?” “You’re sick. Now, hurry up and take your meds. I still need to check on your kids.” “S-Sorry.” “Save it. Don’t you dare scare me like that again!” Dory struggled to keep from yelling, afraid she might break down into sobs herself. “T-Thank you…” Dory knew something had been wrong with Elizabeth for a while. Even though they mostly communicated over the phone these past few weeks, she had sensed it.

“Unless…there’s something you’re not telling me.” Of course, no matter what happens, I’d still choose Dora, but I need to know the truth. “Dora,” I called, “tell me the truth, did you make a bigger mistake than what you told me?” Dora shook her head in response. “N-No. I…” She paused and fiddled with her fingers. “I shouldn’t have snuck out that day.” She sighed. “I was told to stay indoors with her because she was having her usual morning sickness and-”

I said in shock. “Did you want to?” Dylan said and smirked. “What, no!” I said and was about to say something more but Emily kept coughing. “Hey… Dora” I said and held her arms. “Bring her up…” I said to them and they tried to get her up. As she sat on the deck, I rubbed my hand on her back as she coughed out. “Are you okay, Dora?” I asked her. She nodded and couldn’t open her eyes.
