“Well, well, our new roommate. Should we roll out a red carpet or just let you trip on the welcome mat?”
“Shut up,” I muttered, dragging my suitcase past him.
“Touchy,” he teased, following me inside.
The dorm common room was nothing like mine. No cheerful posters, no clutter of books or snack wrappers. Just sleek leather couches, a giant TV, and enough empty space to host a war meeting. And sitting there, like they owned the world, were Darien, Blake, and—unfortunately...Azrael.
Darien didn’t even look at me when I entered, just kept flipping through a file like I was invisible. Azrael shot me the same cold glare he always did. And Blake… Blake just watched.
