In the Darkness of City Blocks

In the Darkness of City Blocks

Dook whispers, gripping the shotgun tighter in his hands. - As soon as he's done with the woman, we attack this pumped creature. Kill the shadow and we will have a chance to save people. I will attack this vile blot. Dook you'll draw the vampire onto you, use Eleanor's tears when Brook-ta-man isn't around. And you are fanged, you will distract both, since you have life-saving toys and speed allows you, - says Alud. Duk and Brook-ta-man looked at each other and nodded approvingly.

Slightly Lazy, Evil, Carefree Cultivator (Book 1)

She gestured them in. "We are Ren." He gestured towards Two and Four once again. Stepping inside, the carpet floated right behind him. Kolinda stepped back into the doorway and looked at the others. The cultivators did not know what to do. So they improvised. A burly cultivator stepped up and stared at the woman. "I am the unbeatable Dola. May I enter?" He gestured as Ren did. His tone was even close to the one Ren used. But he did not speak the language.

The DYING LUNA’S SECOND CHANCE

The DYING LUNA’S SECOND CHANCE

Not jealousy anymore. Something quieter. Laura spotted me first near the upper ridge. “Darius!” I moved toward the lower defense line immediately. “What’s the situation?” “Scouts mixed with hired fighters,” she answered quickly while blocking another incoming strike. “They keep probing weak points.” Kaelira looked toward me briefly then back toward the battlefield. “Southern ridge needs reinforcement.” No bitterness in her voice. No emotion at all. Just command. Gods. That hurt more somehow. I nodded once. “Done.”

THE DE LUCA BARGAIN

THE DE LUCA BARGAIN

Every Car crawling through intersections, was thoroughly searched. People hurried along sidewalks, oblivious to the fact that someone had just declared war on the De Luca family. "Let's move," I ordered Domiano, it was about time the real hunt began. Within seconds, another SUV pulled to the curb. Damiano held the rear door open, neither of us spoke as we climbed inside. The moment the doors shut, the vehicle accelerated. The silence lasted barely a minute before Damiano's phone rang. He fished out of his jacket and answered without greeting.

EL Diablo

EL Diablo

She wondered but he was long gone. Diablo walked down the stairs but rather than going through the clustered bodies, he turned to his right, walking to the far end of the room. There were many couples making out in the semi dark hallway but they weren’t his business and he seemed to have in mind where he was going. He opened a door and was outside in a dark alley, he brought out his phone and dialed a number but the person wasn’t answering. He dialed again and right waiting for the person to answer, he heard a commotion inside and turned in speed to the door, bending over immediately to duck a bullet sent at him. “Fuck,” he cursed, shoving his phone into his pocket and pulling out his sliver

[ENG] The Useless Duchess's Second Chance

“Your Highness, we will soon enter the Daedalus territory.” Raoul heaved a sigh of relief when they finally arrived at the Daedalus territory, which was located at the outermost lane of the road leading to the capital's territory. What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Alpha Dante

Alpha Dante

I said, smirking at my mate “but I believe that you’re the master of deceit and acting” “What are you referring to this time, Dante?” Aurora asked, frowning in question, before her eyes widened in realization and understanding. A devious smile formed on my mate’s face, and taking her hand in mine, I kissed her knuckle gently, letting my lips linger there for a few seconds. “I believe that we are going to need to play one final game, neonata” I said, looking her in the eye “a last big show, or more specifically, a grand finally”

Excellent book. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. There were many twists, turns and surprises. In so many books you can predict what will happen next, but this was unpredictable. I loved reading this book. This book is a must read. I

I am enjoying this book. As previously stated, there are many twists and turn and so so not predictable. I am only about 3/4 finished but don’t want it to end. I plan on reading other books by Crystal. Two thumbs up
