With Syrax and Morgana Hellsing working together, Dracula was defeated. He was sealed, still conscious, inside a coffin, a cruel torture to inflict on anyone. Seven thousand years passed. The seal weakened, and Dracula was finally freed. All that time, being trapped but aware, had driven him mad. He discovered that by sharing his blood, he could create creatures like himself vampires. During this time, he met Luca Giovanni, Lorenzo's grandfather, an immortal werewolf. Luca had somehow killed Syrax, the dragon of fire, and taken his power for himself achieving immortality. How he did this remained a mystery even till this day.

Then she found a book that caught her attention, which was boldly written "The Dark Dracula." She smiled at what she saw; she had always wanted to read this book but never found it. She had heard short tales about it from chapters people read but never got to read it.

On the other hand, my curiosity and the need to take my mind off of Sariel, Draven, and all the other issues overcame the potential threat. I grabbed a tissue and used it to open the book as if expecting the pages to be poisoned. I turned the first page and it turned out to be some old diary. I ran through a few entries. The handwriting I found on those pages was sophisticated and beautiful, while the entries themselves looked like historical notes. As I took a closer look, I saw the dates marked in the corners: they were all dated in the nineteenth century. As I read a couple more entries, I started to realize that the one who had written it was a noble… a vampire noble, a woman at that.

Some of the other vampires who lived there seemed to be acting suspiciously, lurking in the shadows and watching her and Tyler with a keen interest. Jennifer begin to feel uneasy, and she confided in Tyler about her concerns. Tyler also starts to feel nervous, as he has never been around so many vampires before. Despite their worries, Jennifer and Tyler try to enjoy the rest of their stay in Dracula's home. However, one night, they wake up to find themselves locked in their room. Jennifer quickly pounds on the door, but no one answers. After what seemed like hours, the door finally opens, and they are shocked to be confronted by Dracula himself.

The people at the inn will notice that something is wrong. I understood what it meant when I saw Ryson drinking blood from that maid. Feeding on humans. On weak people. I had read too many books, watched too many movies, heard too many stories about myths and legends, liked fiction very much. Where humans and vampires didn't get along.
