Dragon Books Young Adults Novels & Stories

Alicia decided she had to see if he was still conscious before determining if she could help him or not. One quiet step at a time, Alicia came upon the dragon. He was blue, purple, and green and his skin shone in the sunlight like oil. Being a girl who knew no fear, she carefully reached a hand out to touch him. After all, it was not every day that you got to touch a dragon, she thought. He didn’t open his eyes when she gently touched the side of his face. That gave her courage to examine him. Alicia had hopes to be a Doctor of Animals, but she knew that was just a dream. No one would take a woman seriously.

I change into a pair of leather pants and a bra strapping my sword to my waist. While I'm changing, Flavius wanders around the room, lightly brushing his fingers across the many bookshelves I have carved out of the mountain wall. "When I thought of your room, I never thought of so many books. I thought it would be full of weapons and armor," he says jokingly. "I love to read, honestly," I respond. "I’m surprised, though; you even have books written in other languages," he remarks. "There is a lot of great literature that came from the elves and the fae. As a dragon, I am fluent in all languages. I only have to hear the language once, and I can speak it," I tell him nonchalantly.

Raya’s eyes go wide before looking at my mother in panic. “Okay so Lily.. I understand now that you might have found out who we are.. what we are,” my mother begins to say, pausing as she tries to find the right words to say to me. “And I just want to tell you I did the best I could, leaving your father to be the best mom I could, and to raise you the right way. I am not sorry for it, however I guess you did have the right to know who and what you are, yes Lily you are a witch and dragon. You weren’t supposed to have a dragon you know.. female dragons are a dying species and the dragons magic is dying, male dragons are getting angry because they cannot produce anymore female dragons. Uncle Lucifer said in a low rumbling growl. “Uncle?” Brair asked as we all drew back, fearing an angry Uncle Lucifer. Lucifer sighed, placing the book gently on the coffee table. “That book,” he said, his gaze distant, “details the war and the findings of Draconis Cor—a cult dedicated to preserving the Prophecy of the Dragon.” Uncle Lucifer explained bluntly. “What is the prophecy of the dragon?” Millie asked as she leaned over to look at the book.

"Did you say there's a dragon beneath the cave? I thought all the dragons died out thousands of years ago?" "You also thought that unicorns and werewolves were legends until a year ago. Here we are living among you now, so who's to say that dragons aren't real and walking this earth as well. There is a great dragon beneath the cave and his name is Draco. Draco is a great green dragon with hot fire and tough scales. His eyes are yellow and his tongue is red and he wants all the world of men to be dead. The last time he saw a human he burned them alive. I think you should tell him that you are a witch. That should save your life."

Vulcan and Anala, who had just arrived, gasped at the tribute given by Radcliff and Newton to the figure of a young boy who had black hair and red eyes. “It’s him, Vulcan!” shouted Anala while gasping. “I, Draco Black, the last Dragon Prince is willing to take your oath of allegiance, the Fire Salamander-incarnate Radcliff. Let's fight to awaken the dragons and protect Magica from harm,” Draco replied with an aura of majesty and graceful charisma.

I stated softly, feeling a bit choked up with how much I missed him. Unable to help myself, I hugged him close. Despite all the warnings about hugging, he quickly wrapped his arms around me, hugging me. "And I always will," he promised. "Please understand that I only want you to be safe." "I know," I agreed softly. There was a low growl that rumbled from the doorway caused us both to jump. Tohr stood there once again in his black leather, his hair still down, giving him a wild look. This man/Draygon was a warrior… a Golden Warrior, staring down at me with a look of possession that burned deep into me. I slipped out of Erik's hug and turned towards him fully. I wanted to dare him to forbid me

My expectations of hefty magic tomes full of spells were quickly dashed. Laney’s idea of books was limited to fairy tales about princesses and knights and, of course, magic. Not exactly what I had in mind. As far as she was concerned, if it didn’t interest her, it didn’t exist. “This one’s really good,” she informed me, holding up a thin novel called Loved By Two Dragons. “He’s a dragon, but he’s also a handsome boy. But his brother’s even more handsome, and he’s an even bigger dragon!”

I asked, holding my balance firm, not planning to leave my guts. The wind passed again, this time, almost touching my right ear. This person is fast as well, telling the movement of the wind. But what I'm not sure of is if he is from this kingdom or another. "I think you should try better wind boy," I said sarcastically. Ready to use the insight of my dragon to see through the darkness.
