"I want my big drawing papers. The ones with my dragon pictures." "Your dragon pictures?" I smiled, opening the drawer to pull out his messy stack of drawings. "Yes, my dragon papers!" Maple said, his small face lighting up. "I need to fix the cold dragons. The blue ones." I sat down right between them on the soft cushions. The living room quickly became loud and full of energy. "Look, Mama!" Maple shouted, pointing a sticky finger at a large, messy crayon drawing of a dragon with massive wings. "This is a snow dragon. He lives in the very cold mountains. He eats ice and he breathes blue fire."

Above the collar of his dark dress shirt, I could see tattoos of strange dark runes peaking out along his pale skin. The man beside him had shaggy chocolate brown hair that curled slightly at the ends. A red and plaid shirt stretched tightly over his broad shoulders. I didn’t need to see his face to know who he was. My throat tightened and my heart raced in my chest. What was my boss from Moonlight doing in a dragon’s lair? Lucian let out a low growl and I knew that he was feeling my panic. Drake shifted on the couch, slowly turning to face me. His eyes widened and I looked down at the floor, unable to meet his eyes.

Blaze asked. "Sure, if it's something I can do, then I will definitely help you with it" Drake promised. The thought of Cameron made Blaze seeth with anger. "I need you to find a red dragon named Cameron Diaz in the human world. My men tried to find him there, but he disappeared. I want to find him as soon as I can" Blaze asked Drake. Drake nodded his head. "That's not a problem. I will tell all the green dragons in the human world to search for him or anything related to him. We could find him in no time" Drake assured Blaze.

The animals run and fly around the room before dissolving. Taran smiles, “Can you make a dragon?” I smile, “I will try.” I think about Taran in his dragon form. Finally, I push out the ball of pink smoke from my hand as a dragon forms. It flies around the room and exhales pink smoke. I hold out my hand, letting it land on me. Taran sticks out his finger to touch it, only for the dragon to snap at him. “I’m sorry,” I quickly say while dissolving the dragon by waving my other hand.

Max stepped in front of me, facing Dragon directly, and said, "She will not go with you alone. I am coming too." "Humans are not allowed inside!" Dragon challenged. I took a deep breath and calmed down a bit before finally speaking. I wasn’t afraid of Dragon anymore, but I was worried about him knowing about my children and that they were his. I pushed the thought aside and said impatiently, "Max is coming with me, or I won’t go back!" Dragon did not utter a single word; he left with the wind, dressed in a blue suit matching the color of his eyes. He still exuded strength and had become even more captivating.

“Now girls, I am a Dhampir like you but, I am a little different. Do you know what a familiar is?” The two older girls nodded. “Well, I have a familiar,” Seraphina pulled the sleeve of her dress down to show them her marking. “Can you guess what it is?” “A Flutterby,” one of the toddlers shouted as she threw her hands up in the air. “A very good guess,” Seraphina lightly tapped her on the nose. “But not quite-“ “-A dragon!” one of the older girls gasped as she stared at the markings. “Yes, very good. So, I am going to shift into my dragon and you are going to fly home on my back with the others. Now my dragon is very big but, she’s very kind and gentle so, you don’t need to be scared, okay?”

Alexander had been in surgery for three hours. I sat in one of the uncomfortable chairs, watching Mia, who had spread her coloring supplies across the small table between us. Three different shades of blue, two greens, and a purple crayon that was worn down to a stub. She’d been working on the same picture for twenty minutes, adding tiny details that probably no one else would notice. “What’s that one doing?” I asked, pointing to a small dragon in the corner of her paper. “He’s the baby. He’s learning how to be brave from his mama dragon.” Mia carefully colored the baby dragon’s wings pale yellow. “See? His wings aren’t as big yet because he’s still growing.”

I opened it and noticed the printing was only on a few pages it was no longer blank like it was earlier, maybe magic decided I needed to read the red one first. I shrugged as I sat back down and read the four pages that were available. they all basically said that dragons can be born from humans but if they are from an egg that the mother decides when the egg hatches. If they want a dragonkin in the near future it can be done but if they want to wait? well it says mother can keep that egg safe without every worrying if it will spontaneously hatch. I did find a small paragraph on female dragons that said they are celestial beings and the male dragon only has to wish upon a star and his dragon

“Mommy, Daddy, look!” Thomas turned off the stove, wiping his hands on a towel before crouching down to her level. “Let’s see this masterpiece.” Lily carefully held up the paper. The dragon she had drawn was big and colorful, with red wings, yellow flames, and a green tail. It was messy, with crayon lines darting everywhere, but it was full of heart. “Wow,” Thomas said, his voice filled with awe. “That’s the coolest dragon I’ve ever seen.”

he said calmly. Satisfied, Tamera nodded and turned back toward Lance. “Now the dragon comes.” Lance made exaggerated stomping sounds as he pushed the dinosaur across the carpet. “The dragon approaches the kingdom,” he said in a deep, dramatic voice. “He is very large. Very dangerous. And—” “—very hungry,” Tamera added helpfully. Lance grinned. “Yes, exactly. Very hungry.” She leaned forward, completely absorbed in the story. “What happens now?” Lance shrugged.
