XENDAYA. A smile crosses his handsome face before his aura explodes, and I watch as he transforms into his true and most powerful form. A magnificent black dragon that shines with an emerald hue. The most beautiful and incredible dragon I have ever seen. His magnificent wings beat powerfully, and I grab onto his back and jump on. I was wrong. Agnarr’s dragon is larger than his grandfather's, albeit only by a little. The fading pain in my back is like a memory almost forgotten.

I say, turning her face to me. Whatever I was about to say, falls away as a tidal wave of lust blasts through me. I turn to see Cyryl getting up from her nap where she was laying curled up with Bynjym. She hisses at him, then leaps into the air. She’s barely off the ground when Bynjym roars his intent as he, Thyyd, Yttyc, and the other bronzes all leap into the air after her. Cyryl is rising to mate. **This story will continue in The Dragon Rider: Book Two of The Dragon Thief Trilogy.

She slumped with the impact. She was losing consciousness as the gun was being pulled out of her hands. Someone snorted. “We hit the jackpot. The bitch is here in a sexy avatar. Let’s show her where she belongs.” Men guffawed. No… no… no… this can’t be! Please don’t let me faint God! Not now, please… she fell into darkness and oblivion. But his eyes were the worst part—piercing, fiery amber eyes with slit pupils that glowed in the dark fog. A purebred Dragon. The guard leader stepped forward, bowing low. "We brought the Fox, Your Highness. Just as Master Julian promised." The Dragon King did not say a word. He walked toward me, his leather boots crunching against the snow. His heavy predator aura hit the clearing so hard that even Julian's guards stepped back in fear. My Fox ears pinned flat against my head instinctively, my whole body trembling against the ground. He stopped right in front of me, looking down at my dirty clothes, my wrapped hand, and my bruised face.

Hello, everyone! This is XSkylar19. It has been a very interesting ride for me while writing Bane of the Dragons because (fun fact) this was my very first dragon genre. I know some of you probably disliked how everything turned out or how fastpaced everything happened but know that this was intentional as I couldn't drag the story on. Anyway, while this book becomes the first book for dragon genre, it certainly wasn't my first book in the fantasy genre.

It felt both strange and familiar that I no longer lived here, but I knew this little world belonged to Noah. “Noah, which book do you want to read?” I asked, sitting on the edge of his bed. He hurriedly took a picture book from his nightstand and handed it to me. “This one. About a kind dragon.” I smiled faintly, opened the first page, and began to read. My voice was hesitant at first, but then it flowed more smoothly as Noah’s eyes focused on me, listening to every word. I stared at the colorful cover, which depicted a green dragon with a wide smile. “Wow, this dragon looks so friendly. Are you sure this is a dragon, Noah? Aren’t dragons usually scary?” I asked, pretending to frown.

The watch ticked steadily, and this time, its sound felt like a soft applause for his freedom. Dante began to type again. “Once upon a time, there was a dragon who kidnapped a prince so the prince would forget how to fly. But the dragon forgot that the prince’s wings were not grown in a tower—they were born in the stories his father whispered to him before sleep…”

We can't have the knights dyung in this one because the empire will be weaken by it so as much as possible, I want to make the casualties as low as possible. I spent hours reading the first book. Turned out that a dragon has a really thuck skin which I already expected except it's fore head. That part shicked me a bit. After all, I thought that the hardest part of a dragon is the forehead since it has more skin there but turned out that this world's dragon doesn't have that much skin of their forehead making it vulnerable in attacks and magic

“In Akyaka’s realm of olden days, a dragon’s tale in twilight haze, From fiery mountain’s hidden space, an egg was stolen, a daring chase. Molten lava, wild and bold, birthed a dragon, stories told. Burning flesh, a bone dragon formed, crawling up, its wings adorned. Evil, born in shadows’ birth, in quest of kin, it roams the earth. Devouring souls, a desperate cry, villagers succumb, beneath the sky. A warrior bold, on fiery steed, with a horse of valor, matching speed.

she said that but she didn't want to admit her inability to resist reading the book. It...called to her. She sat on the steps, sword now placed across her knees, as she opened the book. The words spilled into her mind like sunflower seeds. Valia Rostrag. A dragon who was incomplete. Hair black as night, kissed with streaks of impossible green, eyes like oceans that could drown a kingdom.
