I stood rooted to the spot and clenched my fist tightly, blinking back the tears that were threatening to drop. Not now, Charlotte, not now, not here. I wanted to leave, I wanted to peel my eyes away from the scene in front of me that was now permanently etched onto my brain, but I could not. “Hey! You’re Charlotte, right? The Secretary?” I didn’t know when Mia turned around, having pulled away from him. She had a smile on her face, one that seemed genuine. “I’m Mia Drakenett. Drake’s future wife,” she extended her perfectly manicured hands to me, the smile permanently etched on her face. She was still leaning on Drake’s chest.

"Well, now that that's done, let me make official introductions. I'm Drace McKeenish. Dragon shifter of the McKeenish clan. I'm here to be your official guide in dragon training." The door burst open behind us. Ari stormed in, lightning curling up her arms, her sapphire eyes lit from within. Tove and Thane hurried in behind her, their fists raised. Ari stopped cold when she took a good look at Drace. She shook out her arms and smiled, the light of battle fading from her blue gaze. "Drace, you must have masked your energy trail. I didn't feel it until moments ago and it didn't read as you." She glided over the floor and pulled the other woman into her arms.

Mikey said as he stood up, pulling me close to him and lifting me off the ground like a bride being carried on her wedding day. I heard my father, DK, and the rest of the people outside as they were about to walk in but before they can, Mikey darted past them and he started running away. “I’m sorry, Uncle Drake,” Mikey said as he paused in front of my father, "but Anya and I needed to talk." I can see DK ready to jump but Mikey didn’t wait anymore second and started running while carrying me in his arms. Mikey was a very fast runner, and it doesn't matter if he was in his wolf form or not, no one can beat him when it comes to running.

Madchen was in awe, she had never seen such a beautiful sight, and her eyes lit up with wonder. An arm wrapped around her waist, and she looked up to see Drago peering over her shoulder. His long black hair was slicked back with a leather strap at the nape of his neck, and he was dressed in a green t-shirt and khaki shorts. “Do you like it here?” he asked her? “It’s beautiful,” Madchen was entranced by the tropical beauty of the Keys. “Not as beautiful as you,” “HuH” Drago grabbed her by the shoulders, turning her to face him.

Linking my arm through Jade’s I began pulling her along to follow the boys. “Come on, try to get there before the sun starts coming up.” We met up with the guys, which Kellan had already shifted into a large green Dragon, but while he was magnificent, it wasn’t nearly as impressive as Cyran’s Dragon. Once we were all settled on Kellan’s Dragon, luggage and all, Kellan spread his gigantic wings and flapped them a few times before taking off into the night sky.

Kellie (POV) Mitch is right. It is over and done with. And out of all this, I gained a family. Something I always dreamed about, and it has now come true. I told him wanting him to know that I really didn’t mean for him to get hurt. The man chuckled before he said, “You have some mad skills, Luna Willow. By the way my name is Drake.” “It is nice to meet you, Drake.” I told him as I gave him a smile. “I’m Kenny and I was luckily not on patrol duty last night to get my ass handed to me by a she wolf.” Kenny said to me as he teased Drake. “Dude, she is a Luna and a hybrid. She would have kicked your ass too. You should have seen her.” Drake tells Kenny and I begin to laugh as Drake becomes all defensive retelling the story how I took out four of their patrol men.

Drake stared at it, his fingers hovering over the keys. “Pick it up,” Damien commanded, his voice a low growl. Drake swiped the ‘accept’ icon with trembling hands. On the other end, Mike’s voice purred with sickening confidence. “I told you, Ice Prince—he’s mine. Catch me if you can.”

I turn back towards the front and begin getting my stuff out when Kevin plops down next to me. "So where's your little boyfriend?" Kevin mocks. "What are you talking about?" I reply in annoyance. "You know the Draven guy at the festival the other day." Kevin says with a sirk. "You know what they say about the Draven's don't you?" He continues. "They say they are evil vampires and anyone who is around them for too long disappears never to be seen again." He finishes. Suddenly a loud thunk sound comes from my other side and I look to see Victor pulling out the chair next to me. I look back at Kevin who wears a smirk on his face.
