Kehidupan Hayu sudah terlihat sempurna. Dia merasa sudah puas dengan kehidupannya selama ini. Gadis asal Jogja ini menyukai pekerjaannya yang stabil. The story follows a young man whose life was turned upside down when his father makes a stupid, irrational mistake and loses all of his money. The perfect life is gone and he has to face failures, losses, betrayals, but also love and true friendship.

A bloody resistance against colonial invasion that tears Seme's indigenous leadership apart marks the entry of a strange culture into the clan.
