‘WAKE UP!’ August’s voice jarred me awake. I frantically sat up, trying to figure out where I was, only to find I was still in the castle turret room turned into funhouse mirrors. So I’m not awake. I knew I shouldn’t have gotten my hopes up when I heard August. “Stupid fucking shit witch….” I grumbled, getting to my feet and picking shards of broken mirrors from my palms. Nothing seems to have changed in this damn place. The broken mirror was still there with the same broken image of August dying like a puzzle I didn’t want to put together. I started looking at the other mirrors hoping something in them would give me a clue on how to escape this acid trip nightmare.

It was a mistake to let my guard down, I should have been more prepared. "You want attention? Now, we are giving you attention," a voice crept into my ears. The horrors were starting to haunt me again, the ghosts of my past swarmed in and I felt drowning with fear. "Welcome to hell, " the voice added; a solid punch connected to my stomach. “I promise, you’d wish you could just die.” "We got prisoner two-zero-zero-one, he would be an addition to the next group, be ready for the next game." I heard one man said before another punch was sent to my abdomen and I lost it, I succumbed to darkness once again, another nightmare came in a landslide.

The spells Odessa had were not strong enough, so she needed something else. Something Ruby should have brought with her. Ruby gasped, taking a lot of air, and jerked up from a nightmare. In the nightmare, she was being drowned by someone she could not see. She sat straight and shakily observed her environment, she didn't remember coming there the previous night. She observed the fairly lit room, sunlight barely made its way through the window.

she whispered quietly as she looked around the room. The curiosity and concern overwhelmed me as I looked at my longtime friend. I leaned in close to her and asked just as quietly, “What is it?” “Well,” she began taking another look around the room before continuing. “I have been having dreams as well but not of Laylan, or unicorns, or fairies, or anything like that. I always thought that maybe I just had multiple personalities and the other happened to be a man named Daemon. But recently, I have been dreaming dreams as if they were his memories or something,” she stopped and looked at me.

Clearly, I am in a nightmare, and it is all because of that stinking movie. Shaking my head, I take a deep breath and decide that I am going to walk out of the bathroom and wake myself up before this dream has a bad ending and I end up dead. However, once I open the door, a sudden gust of wind hits me, and I fly backwards as the tornado rips through the apartment building, and everything is decimated in its path. A few days later, I wake up and feel so much better till I look around and realize that I am lying in the bathtub of the apartment and my foot has been severed.

It was this maniac’s tactic to offer chicken soup to his mates to divert their attention in keeping an eye on her so she could get out, but that was all his plan. When she was out of the building and out of everyone’s eyes, it was his time to do all that he had been thinking of doing to her even from the first moments she had become a detainee in this hell place because all this time, this old pervert demon was fantasizing about her!
