The Thing He Kills For

The Thing He Kills For

I was left alone again, floating there in the world of darkness, wearing the red invisible scars on my body, from the memories that fucking Hansel left behind. I hate that man. I was 6 feet under the crash of the waves. I felt like I was drowning, being pulled under the waves. Except this sea isn't really made from water, it's made of hopelessness, and despair. No matter how fast I swam...the dark flood always pulled me back under. Maybe it is Jerald… he was drowning me, killing me...and he didn't even know it. I suddenly felt a pair of strong arms pulling me towards the surface, my face broke through the waves as I sucked in a breath of air.

Soulless Seas

Soulless Seas

I hiss and attack him. “You are a traitor. I will kill you all.” I grip his throat. “Prepare for war, Fen.” I move away from him as he gasps for air. I dive back into the water and swim towards the hidden kingdom. Swimming towards the abyss, the resting place of the ships, humans, and my people who have been slaughtered rest here. I move towards the opening in the wall. I push through and my eyesight adjusts to the darkness.

The Devil’s Contract

The Devil’s Contract

Darkness would follow, and I’d run through it, desperately searching for a way out, until I’d fall into a sea… a sea made from my blood. Blood would seep out from the wound close to my chest, and I would drown in the endless sea of it. I struggled to breathe as I tried to swim to the surface, choking as the blood clogged my throat. On the surface, there was never anyone to pull me out of it. It was always just me in the darkness. As I swam my way to the surface, fighting two hands pulling me down to the bottom, I saw a hand this time, reaching out to grab me.

she said, and Amber had tears in her eyes because she knew Cynthia would pay for this with her life. Everyone knew, and no one could play along with her. There was no way the girl would escape Linus when he found out she had brought Keith his phone. "I am sorry for everything," Cynthia whispered with tears. She, too, knew that she and Sean might not make it out of there alive, but they were willing to try. "Your parents would be proud," Amber whispered with tears. Cynthia dried her tears. "Tomorrow, I will realise my dream of being Luna; too bad none of you will be there to see it," she said, hinting them he planned to kill them.

Excellent work! Well written and beautifully developed. A true love story (no physical or psychological abuse being sold as 'love'), solid & charismatic main couple, and plenty side characters with interesting storylines. One of my favorite books, and one of the best books in this platform!

Queen Luna: Once Rejected, Now Ruthless

Queen Luna: Once Rejected, Now Ruthless

Instead, it welcomed me as prey. The deeper I went, the darker the water became — black silk folding over my body, layer by layer. I clawed my way upward, but the current curled around me with almost tender cruelty. Each stroke felt like swimming through honey, slow and useless. My lungs burned, my heartbeat roared in my ears, and the only light came from the silver moon rippling far, far above… smaller with every second. This was the Forbidden Sea. The sea that kept its dead. The sea that cradled the worst of the realm — fallen kings, unrepentant murderers, traitors whose names had been erased from every book. The ocean was their prison and their grave, its depths lined with the bones of th

The Return Of A Great Luna

Beneath it, the waves crashed against the rocks, a deadly abyss waiting to swallow me whole. As I dropped towards the water, Lyrien's parting words echoed in my mind. Tears fell, but it was too late. They won. My body splashed into the sea, and the torrent swept me away while Lyrien's triumphant grin etched in my memory forever.

“Someone is in trouble; a competitor fell into the sea due to a violation, and the rescue team has all gone over.” “I heard they can’t even see a shadow.” “I fear the worst; if he drowned, with the current so strong, they might not even find the body.” ***

Author, you’re very creative. The part where Lucius has prenatal depression, that’s a totally a fresh one and totally different from the novels I have read. A very refreshing one. Humour and creative. ...

Dear Author. Please can you strike a balance between the drama at the school and Isabella and Lucius? It gets really tiresome just reading of the endless schemes at the school without getting to hear about Lucius and Isabella as the title of the book is about them.

Her Marriage to the Chieftain Dragon

Her Marriage to the Chieftain Dragon

I At the heart of the Ocean, one body struggled until finally big waves threw him far and he then lost everything in him, except for intermittent breathing. In his last conscious moment, he saw the moon starting to hide from the clouds and so he tried to shout at it but his voice was muffled, and then his mouth was filled with seawater. Thereafter, the light left him and his soul has been drowned in complete darkness. The ocean’s waves hurled like a soul crying in despair and the moon completely hidden beneath the clouds. There was total darkness as it was overwhelmed by the hurling sound of waves and roaring whispers of the wind.

The Underworld Trials of Luna

The Underworld Trials of Luna

And it does, but the water – It’s so high – The tide, it rises so fast – I tilt my head back, lifting my mouth as high as I can, and gasp one final bare breath of air before the swell comes again and takes me under. And I know – I know by the silent peace under the water, the fact that the waves crash above me now – that the swell is above my head. That there won’t be any more air. That – that I’m going to die down here - A panicked moan rises in my throat as I look frantically around for anything – anything that can help – I thrash at the ropes around my wrists, panicking, trying to call on fire that does nothing – I look down at my feet to find them strapped to the sea floor in what looks

awesome continuity... please if you continue for the other characters, show it in the description like you did for the book 2. there's another book with the same names of Ellie and Dominic and I was confused. I really hope there's a Rafe and Mark book.
Stacy
The story-line carried well throughout the entire book until the ending. The ending seemed abrupt, rushed and lacked content/drama that could have been built for additional spin offs and left too many things unaddressed.

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

The Rejected Curvy Luna Queen

The image shatters, but the venom *reacts*. --- The forest dissolves. Frostbite and pine resin vanish, replaced by saltwater burning our lungs as we're dragged into a submerged necropolis. Crumbling towers loom through the murk, barnacles and bioluminescent algae pulsing like a dying heartbeat. Eden thrashes, bubbles streaming from his lips-his void-scars, once a lifeline underwater, now dormant. I grab his wrist, the storm in my blood igniting, and kick toward a jagged spire breaching the surface.
