Broken Mate

Broken Mate

Of course the rogue wasn’t still there but it pissed me off just the same that one had been in my old room. I can’t find her anywhere and I can’t smell her scent. I am about to give up when I see the door in the kitchen that leads to the basement. I take a deep breath and push the door open. As soon as I take the first step down I am hit by the smell of rot but also her scent mixed with blood. I go running down the stairs and down the hall looking in all the cells. I get to the second to last one and nothing would have prepared me for the sight I would see. I run in and swoop her into my arms. She is so thin, her skin is pale, what parts aren’t bruised or broken covered in blood. She is cov

Jessica Jones “Broken Mate” is a brilliant story that is a compelling read with a great storyline, wonderfully written & entertaining characters! Talk about an emotional roller coaster! I’ve laughed & cried. I must admit to wanting to inflict some pain on a certain alpha! Thanks Jessica!

OMG it’s been a long time since I’ve read a book that I was emotionally invested in! It was incredible! I went from happy, to sad, to furious to excited to crying. I hated them & loved them, rooted for them & cursed them for being so stupid!! I only hope book 2 is at least half as good as this one!!

Ashes of the Sky

Ashes of the Sky

My transportation from one prison to the next I suppose. The dragons shift as I pass, one letting out a low, warning rumble that vibrates through the ground beneath my boots. I don't flinch. But I feel it. I feel it in my bones. I have never been this close to an ironclad before, and I would be lying if I said I wasn't afraid. Everything here feels like it's waiting for me to make a mistake. Good thing I don't plan on sticking around long enough to give them one.

Black Bound

Black Bound

The pain was different, it hurts so deep. It was at that point I felt happy that I disobeyed my father. I raised my sword up and headed to cut off the heads of the enemies, I wanted all of them to the ground, dead. The Lunar Dominion Pack has been at War with the Crimson fang Empire and it has been a blood bath ever since the war started. It was gossipped that the curse of death was upon our pack and we will keep fighting until we are all dead. " Are you okay, Princess?" My father's soldier rushed to me.

Claimed by the silverfang alphas

"Put them out of their misery." "Focus," I hissed, grabbing his shoulder. "If you kill them, the flow of energy stops. Heriberto wakes up. We are here for the book." We reached the third level. The air grew colder. The purple crystals were brighter here, throbbing with a heartbeat rhythm. Thump. Thump. And then we saw it. The Bone Orchard. It was a massive natural cavern. The floor was covered in bones...animal bones, mostly, piled waist-high. But in the center, a structure rose. A throne made of human femurs and skulls, fused with black glass.

DARK BOND

DARK BOND

Then concrete. They were inside now. A building. Dark. Smelled like rust and old machinery. Warehouse maybe. Kyrian's head was spinning. He couldn't focus. Couldn't think straight. The hands dragged him down a hallway. Concrete walls. Exposed pipes overhead. Water dripping somewhere A door opened. Metal. Screeching. They threw him inside. Kyrian hit the floor hard. All the air left his lungs. His cheek scraped against rough concrete. More pain added to the pile.

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

Bloodscript: Survival Game of the Reborn

No one laughed, but for a beat, it cut the awe. We fanned out a little. Screens were everywhere—some flat, some curved, some just bands of color suspended in mid‑air. Player stats scrolled on a few before blinking out. Others showed jagged waves of code. One large display in the far corner cycled through round tags like a stock ticker: CYCLE 301: BLOOD ARENA – RATINGS STABLE CYCLE 302: AUTHOR GRAVEYARD – AUTHOR IMPACT: ELEVATED CYCLE 303: GAME CITY – KEY AUTHOR THREAT INDEX: RISING

" Malakai smirked when he thought of the answer. "We're ghosts baby." Malakai responded and Eden wanted to laugh, but she was so confused at the same time. "Huh? The fuck do you mean?" Eden said and looked up to see a mischievous glint in her boyfriend's eyes. "I have someone, a hacker, his name is Rhys. He'd remove everyone's DNA, their information and everything there is about them off the systems of the world. When you joined the agency, he did the same. In short, we don't exist little one." Malakai said and Eden's eyes widened. She never knew the extent to which Malakai could go.

The Warrior Princess Alpha's Betrayal

The Warrior Princess Alpha's Betrayal

Flower Hills Pack had become a valley of blood and dead bodies as smoke from the fire sticks filled the air and more gars kept roaring towards our sight. My men were injured and I cracked my broken bones to straighten up which sent out a loud cry from my lips. I need the Hyde bone, at least the hands. I walked up to her and she glared at me still dodging and fighting. "Are you crazy?" She yelled at me, focusing on the beasts. "I need their bones!" I retorted and bent low while I evaded the Incoming attack over her head and our swords clashed with their skin and blood splashed on us.

The Lycan King's On The Run Mate

The Lycan King's On The Run Mate

The third skeleton said, with a tone of disappointment. So, these wicked skeletons were planning to drift Daniel and me apart. Thank goodness that their plans didn’t work. The next day, we were all at the field and a new game was introduced, which was called the arrow game. I was tired of the dangerous games they kept bringing in and I wasn’t certain that I would make it out of there, alive. “Now, regarding this arrow game, we will shoot the arrows at you all and you must try to avoid the arrows from getting to you because they contain poison. If it should graze your skin, you’ll still drop dead.” The second skeleton explained, looking at every one of us.
