A Fairy Well-kept Secret

A Fairy Well-kept Secret

Beryl quirked an eyebrow before reaching for a glass of juice, “What is that supposed to mean?” Daff kept her eyes on the floor, her lips still in a sad smile, “W- There’s a bit of trouble… There’s someone called Damon around who’s hunting Half-Myths.” Beryl nodded as she drank her juice, the liquid not tasting as good anymore. She knew very little about Daff’s world. “Half-Myths.” Daff looked up to make eye-contact, “Me. Anyone who’s the child of a human and a water spirit, or a centaur or a-“

King Alejandro: The Return Of Her Cold-Hearted Alpha

MANANGALS – I took the inspiration behind this from the Manananggal which is a vampire-like mythical creature that originated from the Philippines. Like the above, the rest of the supernatural beings have my own take on things. - I hope this has helped somewhat! Thank you!

I don't know why but at 1st I had a hard time starting this one, to me it's the saddest one and it was emotionally hard for me to get through. The book tore at my heart. You NEED to read this one to understand the rossi books at least some of of them. especially kats book.

I said book 2 was a hundred times better than book 1, which is one of my favourite books ever! Well, book 5, this book here is a thousand times better than book 2! Believe me! Moonlight Muse writes in a way that puts inside the story as if you were actually there seeing and hearing what happens. ...️

The ancient Filipinos believed that every time there was a lunar eclipse, a giant dragon called Bakunawa was eating the moon and the only way to protect the heavenly body or frighten the dragon away was to make a lot of noise. Ecto of course didn’t believe in luck, whether good or bad; nor did he believe in gods and monsters. Being a chatbot and the only one of his kind, at least as far as he knows, he doesn’t think that Christ or Santa would have him on any list. Maricar was probably right when she said that Nate – Ecto when it came down to it – was an abomination and a child of the devil, not of the Christian God.

Achilles nodded to Helga encouraging her to explain. “Well, with the help of our Queen and Prince Achilles, we learnt that, Dhampirs that happen to have familiars often have differing abilities, for example, the ability to partially shift and they are able to access abilities that are normally exclusive to their familiars,” Helga explained. Seraphina nodded slowly in understanding.

Immortal Love

Almost all. Whenever I see that dream when my son asked for my help. He asked me to save him. I don't know what? But he asked me to save him. And, it was better known to me that it was a son when a 'manannangal' ( A phillipines aswang/ ghost which roams at night with half torso and she is a woman) almost ate up my son inside my fetus last month. Her long tongue was almost entering through my mouth to get to my fetus, to eat my son. But, I was quick to grab her long tongue and tie her up with the upper torso of her body in my room.

They do fly, and when they fly, they do like sugar gliders instead of apes. “Ba... Batis. The mythological creatures of Seram Island. They just like Ebu Gogo, but they live in a shrewdness.” Jeje explained. “Cannibal?” Alfi asked. “Right,” Jeje replied. “Pedophile?” “Right.” “Why are the mythological creatures of Indonesia pedophiles? Should I be a cannibal so that I won’t get imprisoned?” Alfi sighed. “Alfi, it’s no time for that!” ßenlong exclaimed.

Mated to the Wolf and Dragon

Mated to the Wolf and Dragon

She did. It was instructions for a ritual, and it contained an unfamiliar version of an old myth Allorah had been told when she was small. The essence of it was that in a time of great peril, the inhabitants of her island had somehow managed to bridge the gap between their world and the Other, the realm of dragon warriors. They had enlisted the help of several of these fierce denizens, and through their efforts, had triumphed over the evil that plagued their land. It was a common story, and one of Allorah's favorites, but the scroll seemed to suggest that, impossibly, the tale was more than mere myth. In confusion, she went to Dannonae and insisted that she explain.

"Fullmoon, Goddess Miyari is Haliya's twin. where is she now?" "Well, we believe that she's out there still watching us all. That her spirit is still alive," Amelia said "What do you mean alive did she died?" "Well, there was a story Bacunava the dragon serpent who swallowed the moon. He was cursed by Battala. The dragon was known to be a former deity who fell in love with the moon and in a rage because he was not given the attention he seeks. He then swallowed the moon in revenge, this is the story which was passed down from mouth to mouth. No written accounts," Amelia said.

Neo Manila: Rise of the New Gods

She was like a relic stuck in the past and I treasured the short time I had with her. At the time of her only visit, I was a little monster of a kid of five years. To put me in my place or pacify me, she told me stories about scary creatures and beasts that inhabited their village and one such creature was a manananggal. That was the one that stuck with me and the one that I could never forget. She explained to me what it was:
