Dumb Questions To Ask Novels & Stories

“That’s what I thought.” “Cocky much?” “Only when I know I am right.” Damian brought up his whiskey and took a sip without breaking eye contact with me. “We don’t have to talk.” “How would I get to know you, then?” “Not my problem.” “If I wasn’t Dax’s brother, would you want me?” Well shit. “Possibly.” “Let’s play a question for a question. I will ask you a question and you have to answer and then you get to ask me something. No lying.”

"That is such a cliche question; do you ask all of your blind dates that?" Lila asked, and he shook his head. "Then why would you ask me something so basic? Do I look basic?" she continued. Damien was only asking that question to be able to gather information on her; that way he would be able to woo her properly, but it seemed like she was intentionally trying to sabotage this date as if she knew that he was onto him. "Why don't you tell me about yourself instead?" she asked before he could refute her claim.

"Why don't we discuss about it? There is a cafeteria and it is rather quiet. There you can ask me more questions." I had already made a humongous list of all the questions I had to ask. 𝘏𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳. Gosh this sounded wrong. It wasn't her, she wouldn't do such things? Would she? She is the type of person to keep things slow. 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩?

"It's obvious I'm not asking for your Favorite colors or hobbies you have no use for. All I'm asking about is maybe some dark or deep secrets I ought to know." , any family anywhere? Friends? Or close relationships?" He rushes the question at me with my eyes darting all around the room, I

He simply hummed and turned his head away at Eva's question. “Hubby, I have a question to ask you?" She suddenly spoke, making Damien turn to her. "What?” " What is your favorite food?” Eva didn't waste time and asked. "None," A quick response came from Damien without thinking about it. "Oh... how about movies? Do you have one you wanted to watch?" Eva tried again. "I don’t watch movies," "Ohh... ah, sport. What’s your favorite sport?" "Nothing in particular," "Then how about celebrities?"

He laughed like a housewife sharing the most casual of gossip. "I, of course, just want to urge you to ask her the right questions. Nothing drastic, of course! Maybe ask, how did Gideon Powers suddenly end up dead after his clear life sentence? And how did Delta Natalia end up dead as well in quite a similar fashion? Oh, and do ask who was responsible for a certain cake shop fire that turned literally everyone and everything to ash."

I pushed the thought away and realized I had to answer him. I said, "I understand every term of the agreement. But I was wondering if I can ask a few questions." I knew it was a big risk to even ask but wanted to. There were some things that I wished to know. Dax replied, "It depends if the questions are regarding the agreement or not. I'm willing to answer questions if you're confused on any of the terms I've laid out." Why was he so impersonal? I just wanted to be friendly towards him. Maybe he wasn't a people person. I hoped I could break his walls down.

He continued rinsing and drying, leaving me with my mouth hung open and eyes still wide as a saucer. First off, what the hell does he mean by he doesn't relate with humans? Forget it. That's confusing as hell. I don't want to think about it. “I am going to forget; you just try to blow my brain. So the twenty questions are done like this: you ask me ten questions about myself, and I do the same to you. And no, it's not childish. We are getting to know each other.” I explained. “Ok… and if it's a question that I don't feel like answering?”

I asked, even if it was a dumb question. Ella shook her head as more tears filled her eyes. I let out a soft sign. "You had a nightmare?" I asked. These were very stupid questions. I didn't know how to comfort someone who's dealing with past trauma, so I didn't know the right question to ask or the right words to say. Ella just looked at me. "Do you want to talk about it?" I asked but immediately did an invisible facepalm. Do you want to talk about it? What a dumb question to ask a person who doesn't talk.

He asked showing off his beautiful smile. I coughed in embarrassment and that made him laugh. What the hell is he saying?? "No...." I muttered and continued eating my food. "If you say so." "Don't you have other questions for me?" He suddenly asked. I looked up to face him in confusion. "Questions like what?" I asked back. "Uhmm.. my hobbies, things I like and don't stuffs like that." He said. "I don't." I answered. "Why not?" He asked again.
