She set her book aside and picked up Goblet of Fire “I’ve marked the page you were on”, she told Dawn as she held it out to her. The teen smiled, took the book from Lena and relaxed onto her bed to start reading. Lena picked up where she left off in the novel. ~0~

They had been replaced by clear readable pages. He let out a shaky breath as he stared at the page for some time. "Alright, let's begin."

“It’s just… itchy.” I cleared my throat loudly, adjusted my posture, and regained my composure. With Ronan gone to the office, I had little freedom in this mansion. “Albus,” I called, patting the empty chair across from my desk. “Sit down for a moment, please.” He tilted his head. A look passed between the chancellor and the dean. What were they thinking? “How close are you with Lycan Frostwood?” Albus asked.

“I have been trying to find the teleportation spell in the book.” I looked deeply into his eyes, desperately hoping that he was going to prove Calin wrong. “Oh that, It's on the fifth page.” He mumbled casually as he looked into my eyes. My heart sank. I couldn't believe it. Calin was right. “But you told me it was on the twenty-fifth page.” I took a few steps back, walking out of his arms. He then realized he had just stabbed himself in the foot. “I uh, I must have forgotten. It has been a very long time since I used the book.”

This was more than just Keera needing space from me. She wasn't with her phone. Dahlia's voice trembled. "The missing page... it has guidelines for using a masking potion." I stared down at the paper in my hand. I'd already ran my gaze through it but I still couldn't understand it's significance. Why would Elena take that page out? As if hearing my thoughts, Dahlia continued, fiddling with the zipper of her hoodie. "I couldn't figure out why she would take the page out." No one could. It wasn't like Keera and her team would have made use of the guidelines.
