When aftershocks hit, I couldn't dodge in time and got buried under rubble. Back to reality, I glared at them but didn't call them out. Doom was waiting ahead for them. Lumora, a small tourism-dependent country, couldn't handle natural disasters. After the quake, society fell apart. Kidnapping, looting, and other bad things happened everywhere. Around us were all refugees. The collapsed hotel before us echoed with cries for help. It was a mess. I felt lucky to have survived it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gotten this second chance.

"No, I'll just tell him I found the note on the floor." I touched Wendy's shoulder, "thank you for telling me." When we finally get to the open country, which was only an hour from Walker's Inc. I could see the damages done to our windmills and a few pipe lines. "Mr Walker." A man greeted my father. "Joe." My Father nodded at one of his longtime and trusted worker. He had a bandage over his eye, and was walking with a limp as he came over to us. "Can you please show us the video? I know my daughter can work her magic and make the resolution of it better."

He squinted in the sunlight, the figure was far too tall to be Cara. Feigning slight disappointment he crouched down to pet the dog. “Archer?” The voice came from the tall, model-like figure. Archer stood up, forcing a polite smile to his face. “Or should I say, Zach Maddox? Which do you prefer?” Her face tilted sideways, mocking him. Archer’s smile dropped as he felt the sarcasm stab at him. “Sorry do I know you?” He asked confusion wavered through his voice.

"W—Where’s the alpha? Where's Drake? " Her voice trembled. Emily was trembling and afraid when she saw that Dillon was not with the alpha. Dillon’s expression was expressionless; his head looked down at the ground; his shoulders slumped, and his hands were full of blood. "Dillon..." Emily’s voice cracked. I’m asking you, where’s the alpha?!" She growled; she was on the verge of crying. "Why aren’t you with him?! What happened with the explosion? "

There were several smoke flares lit, each of which was held by Alpha Stevan, Beta, and Gamma Pack Delonix. When they were fired upwards, primary colors came out. Not wanting to be affected by the smoke residue, Diana didn't look up like the others, choosing instead to look straight ahead. But she saw something that shook her body and soul. Diana was frozen in place. She saw Alpha Darren from where she was, staring at her as well. Not only Alpha Darren, but also Cedric, Fred, and dozens of heavily armed troops were on standby. Diana had never expected to see Alpha Darren again, let alone under these conditions, when she had become a member of another pack, which was the enemy of her home pack

His laughter faded as he was stabbed in the back, as he stared in shock at the dagger that had been thrust into his stomach. "Kill them!" Jack shouted as they surrounded the two soldiers. John looked at his friend with great concern, but he immediately disappeared, leaving the latter among the enemies. "Zayn." Aaron shouted the name of his brother who fainted and followed him!! His Mate , who also fell on the ground fainting, is there any quantity? The unbearable pain or the blood that filled the floor??? Was it her horror that she experienced, or her disappointment with her Mate ?? Jack picked her up quickly and couldn't hide

Damon’s POV Damon Montague sat across from Harrison Kendrick, his eyes locked on the older man's face. Kendrick's expression was calm, but Damon could see the tension in his shoulders. "So, Mr. Kendrick," Damon said, his voice smooth as silk. "I understand you're looking to make a deal." Kendrick nodded, his eyes narrowing. "I am. I want to expand my business, and I need your help to do it." Damon leaned back in his chair, steepling his fingers together. "I'm listening."

Then, we witnessed the interrogation of the rogues and enemy warrior spies. "Duncan," I whispered to Duncan, who was standing beside me. He loved watching the enemy warrior spies being tormented with whips, drinking devil's helmet, and sitting in the electric chair. "What's wrong, Alpha?" Duncan glanced at me in annoyance because I made him look away from the prison cell. "Can't those rogue assassins work? I've paid them a lot of money." I clicked my tongue. “Calm down, Alpha.” Duncan patted my shoulder. “They warned you it would take a long time to find out.”

Despite the salt and pepper grey hair, Connor’s movie star looks make him seem ageless in a way that had me thinking he would have still been just a touch too young to fight in that battle. “If you don’t mind, I’d like to.” He says. “I may have some additional insights that your parents or Leader Bruno don’t, and given how close this guy,” he says, motioning to the deceased human still lying on the ground, “was found to my pack lands, I’d like to be a part of thinking through next steps. Have you contacted COWS yet?”
