He started moving closer to him and before he went to stand over him, he gave him a big kick at his lower back and Alex shouted in excitement. I didn't know what I was expecting but when Dominic opened the laptop and showed me a mug shot, my eyes widened. He looked to be in his late twenties, sporting a dark buzz cut and a neatly trimmed beard. He had a black eyebrow piercing and I could see the tattoos sneaking up his neck stopping just below his jawline. Lucas was smirking with his head tilted up slightly, almost mockingly and that alone told me the man feared no one. "Holy shit, he's fine." I blurted without thinking. The laptop was slammed closed and I jumped. Yurik let out a loud laugh and shook his head.

"According to General Lockwood, Charles Anderson is Lawrence Duncan, he is an ex-Marine just like your dad, but Charles was discharged with dishonorable one due to a crime he had done, which were concealed by the highest authorities and now, there is no way to trace that file," Jack stated with a disheartened tone.

He was still wearing the torn remnants of his shirt from the alleyway fight, and his hands were trembling slightly as he clutched a sleek, encrypted military laptop against his chest. He didn't stand tall like a king. His broad shoulders were slumped, and his supreme aura was completely retracted, locked away so deeply that he smelled like a regular, unranked human. He looked at Amora through the screen door, his expression filled with a raw, bleeding agony. "Amora," Duncan whispered, his voice cracking with emotion. "I am not here to fight Oscar. I am not here to demand anything. I just... you need to see this. For the children."

Duncan thumbed his chin, wondering what he would do. He snapped his fingers, going close to the bush and whispering, "I am Duncan Mirthon, mate of Erin Grendel, the one who-" Before he could finish his sentence, the vine struck his cheek, slicing his skin. Duncan hissed, jumping out of the way, feeling his blood dribble down his cheek. "Damn it!" He exclaimed under his breath at the pain that bit his skin. He sat on a small rock, until he remembered he was invisible and could easily sneak into the kingdom.

Charming and beautiful and sexy…” “I was always like that!” I replied confidently. “Right!” Duncan said. “Maybe that's why I miss you.” I began to laugh hysterically, unable to believe my ears. I would look away but the moment I would set my eyes on Duncan, my laughter would intensify.
