Dune First Book Novels & Stories

My back slammed into the bookcase, breaking it and bringing down all of Kalama’s books on me, while Musi ended up flying into the corridor outside of Kalama’s apartment. * Author's note*: This chapter was a special request from a good friend and fellow author, Charlotte Townsend. He could smell it in the air, see it all around him and almost taste it on his lips. After roughly two minutes, he got the reward for deciding to follow the path he had taken. The three hostels stood side by side like three giants leading a troop of soldiers to war. The buildings were misty in the distance but from where he was, he knew they were the building he and the other new intakes sought after. He had led them in the right path, he thought. He was sure to be a great Alpha. All he needed do was take care of Harold which his mother was on to already.

Thousands of abandoned books rested upon the silent sand. Some were half-buried. Others lay open, their pages completely blank. The woman whispered, "These are all unfinished stories..." The First Reader nodded. "Every story abandoned by its Author eventually arrives here." Adrian stepped onto the cold sand. The moment his foot touched the shore... every abandoned book trembled. One by one... their pages began turning. Not by wind. By recognition. A faint whisper rose from every direction. "Author..." "Please..." "Finish us..." Thousands of voices.

The solidification of Aethel-9 in the Sahara had turned the desert into a sanctuary of glass and sound, but the L1 Lagrange point was already pulsing with a different frequency. The "Second Book" was arriving, and it didn't look like a geometric dodecahedron or a city of light. It looked like a Spore-Cloud.

My breath caught, my chest tightening as I clutched at it with a trembling hand. "Oh my god…" The words barely escaped me, a whisper of awe and terror. This wasn’t just any book. I could feel it—the weight of power humming through the air around it. This book… it held the truth, the very secrets of the Alpha Seal. Dorian had been right all along. Just as my fingers brushed the edge of the book, it stirred to life on its own. The heavy pages flipped wildly, faster than I could stop them, until they slammed to a sudden halt, almost as if the book itself had chosen what I needed to see.

Hello, everyone! This is XSkylar19. It has been a very interesting ride for me while writing Bane of the Dragons because (fun fact) this was my very first dragon genre. I know some of you probably disliked how everything turned out or how fastpaced everything happened but know that this was intentional as I couldn't drag the story on. Anyway, while this book becomes the first book for dragon genre, it certainly wasn't my first book in the fantasy genre.

I kicked a book, and it opened to a page, I knelt down and read it only to gasp with what it was reading, “As in the last days, the Luna of the Moon perished, leaving her heir to survive. In the new beginning, the twins will win the hearts of two who are blind. The dark war will be won only then the Blood Moon Luna shall rise, her pure love, heart and soul will be what saves the last Alpha from his demise. These words are written for all to see and stop the last Alpha from perishing. In the dark war he must believe that the Blood Moon Luna is his for eternity.” I took the book and shoved it into the back waistband of my jeans, covering it with my coat and stepped out of the destroyed lib

"You like that don't you? See? We weren't that bad." He didn't say a word, just stood up and started walking. He didn't retaliate but I saw that small smile as he stride away. ________ The green meadows, dancing of the leaves with the rythmm of the breeze filled my heart with calmness. This could be a picture of a perfect village. Who would have thought that this was indeed a refuge. Yes, everyone here were striving to survive, to continue to exist. They were the last of their kind. And maybe, there were some out there, hiding, afraid to get involve with the war that's going on.

STILL ALPHA RIVERS POV Jeremiah was first to go. He let the blanket fall to the ground before turning his back to me. “What the fuck!!” I whisper yelled “And that’s not even the worst.” Silas Barnes, Richard’s second in command said before shedding his own ridiculous shirt. The rest followed and I couldn’t even look at their backs anymore. It didn’t even deserve to be called a back anymore. “What happened?” “Your mate’s father happened. He’s one scary ass motherfucker and I wish to never see him again in my life or dreams for that matter” Leone Esposito, Matthews’ second responded with a look of pure horror in his eyes

I was so over this crap, I just wanted Charlie back in my arms, it was horrible with her being so far away “You are supposed to be my brother, do you not want to help me?” “It’s not that I don’t want to help, I just think we might be falling into a trap” Kayla comes quickly into the office carrying a large book, she looks flustered as she slams the open book down on the table sending bits of dust everywhere and making me cough. Kayla apologises and asks if we have heard about the one to rule them all. I look at Alexander and he looks just as puzzled as me “What do you mean the one to rule them all?”
