Flavius wades through the crowd of dragons until he comes upon a SpitFire much smaller than the rest. Her scales are a brilliant lilac compared to the deep violet of the other SpitFires. She slowly approaches Flavius sniffing his outstretched hand. Flavius uncurls his fingers, reaching for her head. In one swift movement, her jaws snap down on Flavius's hand. He lets out a yelp of surprise but does not try to pull his hand away. Blood drips from the mouth of the small SpitFire. She makes no move to rip Flavius's arm off, which is a good sign.

The next shot rings out. Control snapped as always sending heat coursing through my blood. The pain always feels so real. Flames leap across my vision. The ground below me turning to ash. The tree turned to char as the flames dance across the branches. Swallowing it whole. The swing falls and crumbles. Seeing the house begin to burn, the flowers long gone, the fire blazes around me, and my world goes black. Pain is the strongest reminder I was there. I open my eyes and look at my surroundings. Ashe covers the metal in black smudges. Yeah, I’m home. Letting my breathing return to normal I reach out and unlock the handle and push on the iron door.

Emilia's POV The desert sky vanished beneath the Titan's immense wings. Its shadow engulfed the Burning Desert, transforming the golden dunes into a vast expanse of darkness. Each beat of its wings sent walls of sand crashing across the battlefield. For the first time since confronting the Shadow Dragon... I felt truly insignificant. The creature's body was encased in black crystal armor that shimmered with violet energy. Jagged horns curved from its head like shattered mountains, and six glowing eyes surveyed the desert below.

My body started to burn. I pleaded again for whomever it was, to stop. “I can’t..breath..who are..you?” I said in between breaths as he laid against my back, pressing the length of his body into me. “Emm..shhhh..soon..soon my little dove.
