He smiles smugly not catching my sarcasm and sits back in his seat. My head starts getting groggy again, and I reach up to my forehead. It is bleeding quite a bit and I did not even realize. I put my forehead against the cool glass of the window to try and get some relief as I close my eyes. A wave of pressure falls over me, and it felt like my ears popped like when you are on an airplane.

[Erin] A piercing, petrified shriek penetrates the depths of my eardrums, jolting me out of my brief slumber. In the background, the sound of running water slapping against the marbled floor resounded. The bleach white wall blurred in my vision as my lids fluttered open. My nose immediately stings as I try to take a deep breath, but instead of air, water rushes into my nasal passages, instantly wheezing as I gasp for air.

The thought brought a little smile to my lips that was cut off when something smacked me hard in the face, knocking off my feet! I looked up to see one of Sierra's cronies with a trash can cover as she high fives her friend. Something wet made its way out of my nose and I touched it to see blood. The pain was swift at this point, accompanied by ringing sounds in my ears. They were talking, laughing even, but I couldn't make out what they were saying through the ringing sounds in my ears. I was hit in the face, how come my ears were buzzing?!

I tell them with a shrug. They all look at each other before Lyra grabs my arm and yanks me toward the changing room/shower room/bathroom. As soon as we're in there Lyra pushes me toward a mirror. A gasp automatically escapes my lips right when I see my nose in the mirror. It's swollen up so big that it looks like I got a Botox for Shrek's nose. It's completely blue and black all over, like something from a horror movie. "All I did was hit into a door, how did this happen?" I screech.

“A-choo!” The sneeze was violent, echoing off the marble floors. Her eyes immediately began to prickle, the telltale heat of a flare-up blooming across her cheeks. She sniffled, reaching into her bag for a lace handkerchief, her vision blurring behind a thin veil of involuntary tears.

"Full of what?" "Snot." Cale looked horrified. "My head is full of... biological waste?" "Basically." "I need to evacuate it." "Here." Elion handed him a box of tissues. "Blow." Cale looked at the tissue. He looked at Elion. "I do not know the technique," Cale admitted. "You don't know how to blow your nose?" "I never had to. My body was self-cleaning. Efficient." "Okay. Put the tissue over your nose. Close one nostril. Blow out the other. Gently."

Babe’s POV The most outstanding thing about my ear bleed was the fact that I couldn't feel any pain even though the blood wouldn’t stop until the nurse applied some funny-looking ointment that was strangely pale yellow. “Are you sure the ointment is safe?” I asked the nurse for the umpteenth time before leaving the school clinic. “Don’t worry you’ll be fine. It has already healed you. All you have to do is stay away from noises for the main time” She explained and I nodded.

Pain shot down my spine as my vision went a little blurry. "What the fuck did you just say to me?!" I had little air, but I forced out my reply. "You. Heard. Me." And those three simple words were all it took to send Milo off the deep end. He brought his head back and then connected his forehead with my nose. A loud popping sound came from my nose as the room spun and an excruciating pain verberated into my skull. My arms released from his as I lost control of them for a moment.

She didn't even respond at all and kept her eyes staring at the ceiling.
