PAINT ME NAKED

PAINT ME NAKED

she said, holding a chuckle. “Whatever this thing is, this feeling you’re holding onto, let it be real. Let it lead somewhere good. Somewhere lasting. Let it lead to forever, alright?" "Forever?” she asked, raising an eyebrow while sipping her coffee. “What are you talking about?" "Jeez, you’ve really gone full-on American, haven’t you? You can’t even catch a classic Filipino joke anymore."Nelly rolled her eyes in mock exasperation, a playful grin tugging at her lips. "Let me explain it to you. ‘Forever’ is what we Filipinos say when two people fall in love and stay in love. It’s not just about being together; it’s about choosing each other every day until the very end. It’s cheesy, yes, but

THE BEST MISTAKE (English)

THE BEST MISTAKE (English)

Shaina nodded at her daughter with a smile. They call the Philippines their home because they know that it is their hometown. “Yehey!" Arriana stood up and jumped for joy. “Mom, can we see Daddy in the Philippines, too?" It was as if an angel had passed by, that Daisy and Shaina were both suddenly quiet. However, Daisy is in awe of the twins, who are expert in speaking Tagalog. Also, he is so proud of Shaina as his friend took care of the twins very well.

UNKNOWN GAMER (a game of love)

UNKNOWN GAMER (a game of love)

Ashley POV At last, we finally came back. I miss the scent of my country. I look at the place and see how differs the two countries not just in appearance but also in humidity. Japan was still cold even it's summer yet here in the Philippines when you say it's summer expect that it's freaking hot. But I love it still. This is my country and I am proud of it. I hope off the chopper and look at it one last time before the operator took off and leaves us to where we take off the first time. We are at the top of the abandoned building.

The Devilish Billionaire

The Devilish Billionaire

Haha. Because the venue was magnificent, it felt like we’re Harvard graduates. Then came the prayer. “Thank You, Dear Almighty God, for the opportunity and success You have given everybody. Thank You. You know, I want to hug You. I’m thankful for the blessing, especially the people that I met throughout this journey. Although in fact, that journey has taken me to a somewhat different path. Please guide us always. I love you so much.” And the National Anthem. Ah, my beloved Philippines, our National Anthem is so beautiful. It makes me feel patriotic every time it played and was sung. It makes me proud and feel the pride of our Motherland! Always and forever! 😘😘😘

Max's Revelation

Max's Revelation

But by the time Clara got to the orphanage, they were nothing but memories. The dreams don’t visit him as often nowadays, but there's a song that keeps replaying in his head. He does not know the lyrics, but the melody haunts him all the time. In his memories, this song was in a foreign language… ‘I hope that the days of old won’t fade away When I was a baby in my mother’s arms I wish to hear her song again A song filled with love as she rocks my cradle’ (This song is the translated first verse of a Filipino song called “Ugoy ng Duyan”)

This is intriguing, witty and I still enjoy the relationship among the siblings. there isn't a boring moment when they are together. Perhaps Max is the key to this chemistry or perhaps Clara, who knows? But I really enjoy the introduction of Celine. I can't wait for more chapters!

Thank you author for Max’s story. Was just as well written as Clara’s Mystery and I cannot wait to read Jeremy’s. Keep writing because I am a fan and hooked on your ability to tell the story that grabs your readers and has them thinking of the characters long after the last chapter!

Neo Manila: Rise of the New Gods

Neo Manila: Rise of the New Gods

"What a stupid name. Is it a made-up name like many people do in the Colony? Who gave you that name?" "No. My mother. She's a gypsy. Long story." "Oh. So you're one of them, eh?" "What do you mean?" "A colonizer: an enemy of the country." "Which country? This one? Sir, you don't know your history. The Philippines never became an independent country. It was a Spanish colony for more than three-hundred years and later got ceded to the US by Spain. During World War II, it became a Japanese colony for a few years, then got recolonized by the US and stayed this way until today. "

The Revenge of Billionaire's Wife

"Of course, it's so beautiful that they both look alike haha! Oh! The Philippines is beautiful and has many buildings. It's very different from what I used to live in." "You said Dina, it's just that the pollution is getting worse because of the fumes from cars and factories." "That's all, mother, but at least the Philippines has improved. Oh! I've only been here for three weeks. Let's make the most of the days we have together." Dina said with a smile. "I like that sister. I know some nice places in the province. I'll show you when I get home." “Oh! It's great! By the way, are you about to graduate?

ZAVIANA • Heart of Gold

ZAVIANA • Heart of Gold

The drive looked at us for seconds and answered. "Yes sir," "Then let's go," He said with a smile and our driver started to drive. "When we are going to leave to go to the Philippines?" I asked my husband. We are leaving for the Philippines because we are going to help some children in need. Donate some money, give scholarships, and give them happiness. It also gives us happiness now our time is limited. When we die we can't grave our money to our grave. So we decided to share it to different countries. We usually stay for a month or months it depends on our errand.

But... " Hello?" (Marupok ka Gun * here in the Philippines we call a person MARUPOK, when the person is easy to tease with or in other terms WEAK.. here Gun, is marupok because instead of not answering the call he immediately swiped and answered it without even thinking 🤔🤔😒😒)

SENSUAL REVENGE (ENGLISH)

SENSUAL REVENGE (ENGLISH)

Her tone reflected pride in her last statement. As Marius had hoped, we proceeded to the dining room for lunch. The spread on the table was delightful: Paksiw na Bangus, a savory Filipino dish made with milkfish marinated in vinegar, garlic, and spices, creating a delectable balance of sourness and richness. Accompanying it was Tortang Talong, an eggplant omelet, where grilled eggplants are dipped in beaten eggs and then fried to perfection. For dessert, we enjoyed Buko Pandan, a refreshing Filipino delicacy made with young coconut strips mixed with pandan-flavored gelatin, tapioca pearls, and sweetened cream.
