Distant Fate

Distant Fate

They stared at each other in the breeze that blew intimately. Kai. The man smiled faintly, but the sparkle in his eyes radiated warmth to Hyomi. While Hyuk watched from a distance. Kai's right hand slowly touched Hyomi's cheek very gently. Hyomi just surrendered to the atmosphere, following the movement of the hand, until Hyomi's head fell on Kai's shoulder. Still, in a frozen state, Hyomi's presence now was able to make the water flow from her eyes unstoppable. Slowly she began to blink her eyes, letting the next droplets flow down her cheeks until finally, she was so weak. Crying without a sob.

My Foreign Husband

My Foreign Husband

“Is this the end you expected? "Questioned Jonathan in a tired voice and devoid of heat. “Are you satisfied, Suzy?” Between us there was a distance of approximately ten steps, whose vacuum was filled by the flow of salt air that came from the waters below us. We were over the bridge of a winding river, in which its turbid and treacherous waters formed small invisible whirls on its serene surface, swirls that met the water of a distant sea. A deadly beauty, by the way, since the waters of a deep cyan were so coldly calm that one could look for as long as it was without feeling any vertigo or sign that a fall would hardly end well.

The Merman, My Man

The Merman, My Man

Would this thing bring me to you? But even as I prayed to myself, an inhuman growl suddenly echoed out of my walkie-talkie, building up into a curious soundwave that flowed into my mind directly. I seemed to flinch in my head, and promptly looked at the surface of the water around me—all I saw was the reflection of myself and the others over the deep waters under the illumination of the flashlight overhead, and there wasn’t anything that looked suspiciously like Dicken. A beam shone from the point where we entered just then, slowly spreading over the surface of the water and allowing me to see some of the aquatic insects that had survived the nuclear radiation.

Pia
Lot of erotica, but very captivating and a unique style. Very original story that for a change isn’t about werewolf alpha’s or ceo’s. I love how the author produces a really in dept plot which is not predictable at all. Great author, great work!
Courtney Lee
Author does an excellent job of steamy scenes, although it would be nice to read the male lead’s point of view. Female lead, Linda can be a bit frustrating, but keep in mind that she’s viewing male lead and mermen from a sheltered academic viewpoint.

Remember me naked

Remember me naked

I feel my strength tearing away, one after another, like sails ripped by the wind. A wave knocks me over. I drink, I drink more. My lungs fill with water, with salt, with night. I hear my heart beating, a dull drumbeat in my ears. My eyes burn, I see only light points that burst and immediately vanish. The sounds grow distant. Even my own breath sounds like that of a stranger.

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

Rejected by My Mate, Fated to the Lycan King

I wrap my arm around her and refuse to glance back at the lake, though I feel eyes on my spine Eyes that wear my smile, eyes that know our names. Behind my lids, the image lingers. A watery hand, offering forever. And I hear a final, distant murmur sinking into my dreams. We’ll speak again when the moon is dark.

The Lycan King’s Broken Mate

The Lycan King’s Broken Mate

Aedan I recognize the sound of water from far away—first a dull murmur, as if the earth were rolling words between its teeth, then the roar sharpening itself against the edges of the rocks. As I slow before the last bend of the passage, my lungs adjust to it: two breaths for the dark, one for the water, then again. I press myself to the wall; beneath my palm the stone is cold and wet, the chill crawling into my skin, and by the time the noise of my own blood quiets, I hear that dry knock to which the refuge usually answers. I reply twice short, once long—the gesture of my childhood, my father’s code—and the silence behind the stone, like a sleeping chest, rises for a heartbeat.

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

My marriage was for money, his for vengeance

"Resonance mapping?" "Still imprinted," she replied. "We simply hear it differently these days." The bridge hummed with a solitary, deep note—remnant echo of motion no longer there but still recalled. --- 8:14 AM — Sector K, Deep-Pool Irrigation Tier Sunlight filtered through rough latticework above, patterned to change with the hour. Rehydrated earth clung together like memory near the edge of coherance. Water moved sluggishly through tight loops, its sound like breath, stopped then resumed.

The Curse Alpha's Son

The Curse Alpha's Son

The night air was filled with the symphony of nature, the chirping of crickets and the rustling of leaves creating a soothing melody. In the distance, I could see the waters glowing under the soft lights of the moon, casting a mesmerizing shimmer across its surface. The lake beckoned me, its tranquil beauty inviting me to seek solace and clarity within its depths. With a sense of anticipation, I made my way towards the water's edge. The cool breeze brushed against my skin, carrying the faint scent of water and earth. As I approached, the rhythmic lapping of the waves grew louder, a soothing melody that resonated deep within my soul.
