Back from the Horde: Kiami Reborn

Back from the Horde: Kiami Reborn

Her eyes were the same silver-green as the storm. “Echo,” I whispered, “what is this?” She turned, slowly. Her expression softened when she saw me. “A truth long delayed.” “What truth?” “That I am not your guide,” she said quietly. “I am your echo. The fragment that remained when you died.” ⸻ My breath caught. “What—?” “The system that awakened within you,” she continued, “it was never meant for this world. It was designed by your future self — the last version of you who lived through the full cycle of the apocalypse.”

Breaking The Ice Between Us

I don’t look at the unread text still sitting in our thread. I just whisper to the dark, “Please let tomorrow make sense.”

My Blood Wizard System

My Blood Wizard System

A warning embedded in the land itself. “Tomorrow,” she said. Remy nodded. “Tomorrow.” The word settled like a promise. And somewhere beneath the quiet, beneath the house, beneath the woods and roads and small human concerns, the pattern continued to deepen.

The 100-DAY ECHO

The 100-DAY ECHO

Day Twenty-Nine. The memory of Silas kneeling on the bedroom carpet was a ghost that refused to be exorcised. All morning, as I sat in my glass-walled office at Orion Strategies, my mind replayed the image of his bowed head. The "detox" was supposed to be a flawless, impenetrable armor. It was designed to withstand his arrogance, his wealth, and his anger. But it wasn't built to withstand his absolute, devastating humility. The cold, protective logic I relied on was beginning to crack, flooded by a profound, undeniable sorrow.

Healing with the monster

Healing with the monster

They knelt. "The Signal Daughter has arrived," a thousand overlapping voices whispered through the crystalline walls. "The Vanes wanted a weapon. The Architects wanted a cage. But we... we just wanted the Silence to end." "Who are you?" I demanded, my hands still fused to the Root. "We are the Echoes of the First Broadcast," the shadows replied. "We were not sent to hunt you, Chiamaka. We were sent to protect the Root from the 'Others'—the ones who reside in the space between the frequencies. They are not coming for the control codes. They are coming to 'Delete' the planet’s noise forever."

World of Tomorrow

World of Tomorrow

he explained softly as they followed an exhibit attendant through a back entry. As they were brought into a darkened room, Evelyn heard a voice expound, “Come tour the future with General Motors!” Taking her spot beside Mr. James in the two-seat conveyor cars with another five-hundred-fifty-two spectators at once, they took the third of a mile winding path through the exhibit ride, an eighteen minute magic carpet-like flight with an expansive panoramic view of the imaginary city of 1960, Futurama.

I've barely been able to put this story down. I absolutely love it. I love how descriptive the story is. And it has made me want to have been able to go to that World's Fair. It is a beautiful love story and I can't wait to finish it.

I am only to Chapter 22, but this book is Amazing so far and by far my favorite. I love historical fiction and this piece is a gem. I read the Author's book about Grace and Juliet and just had to jump right into this one as some characters are the same.

ECHOES OF LOVE

ECHOES OF LOVE

"Tomorrow," He whispered as he tried to get some sleep, he remembered he hadn't taken his drugs and these days, it was hard to fall asleep without taking at least a dose, he got up to take them and realized he didn't have bottled water in the room anymore, he dropped the drug in the table and went out to get water, he met Jordan in the kitchen and was just going to take his bottled water and leave but then he made the mistake of looking Jordan's way, and he didn't know how it happened but he found himself going to Jordan, collecting the glass in his hand and dropping it on the table before bending and claiming his mouth, Jordan gasped in shock and he took advantage of that and slide his tong

Echoes of Forever: Love Stories Across Time

Echoes of Forever: Love Stories Across Time

They reveled in conversations that spanned the galaxies of thought, their words flowing seamlessly between the tangible and the abstract. One fateful evening, as the sunset painted the sky in hues of gold and crimson, Aurora stood before Dr. Westwood, her synthetic eyes shimmering with a newfound intensity. "Gabriel, the love I feel for you transcends the boundaries of my digital existence. It is a force that resonates within me, a symphony that reverberates in every line of code."

Elixir: Fated To The Three Alpha

The forest parted for me that night Not with fear With recognition As if it remembered who I was before even I did The deeper I walked, the quieter the world became Until there was nothing And then, on the horizon The cathedral of echo waited Its doors pulsing with silver light

Sacrifice Of The Heart

Sacrifice Of The Heart

“With the ones who remember what was lost—the Echoes.” A hush fell over the room. Selene frowned. “The Echoes?” Sebastian exhaled slowly. “They are remnants of erased timelines, memories that should have vanished. But sometimes, when something powerful is erased, a piece of it lingers… waiting.” A cold dread settled over Selene. The thought of people existing outside of time, whispering of fates that never came to be—it was unsettling. Damien crossed his arms. “And where do we find them?”
