Everyone went silent for a moment before Easton said, “Hey, now we have ties to Juniper Moon.”

The five of us sat there and talked about my grandparents and parents until the dogs started to bark, letting us know that Esadowa had arrived. All of us stood up and walked outside to the porch. Esadowa parked her truck behind mine and got out.
