Eddie came barreling over five minutes later, red-faced and breathless. "Mom! Bryan! Look! I made it all the way across the monkey bars!" "Nice work, buddy," Bryan called. "Can I have a snack?" "Didn't you just eat pancakes?" "That was, like, forever ago." Bryan rolled his eyes and handed over the baggie of Goldfish. Eddie plopped down on the grass beside us, shoveling handfuls into his mouth like he hadn't seen food in a week.

Must be his Japanese secret medicine. "Hi, Eddie!" I came to his office. "Hi, Izzy! Please sit down." He smiles. He doesn't have an accent. Eddie is an American-born Japanese. "Is there anything I can help you with?"

The Stalker's POV: Hey Matthew! did she see us asked Christian! I do not think so, bro! he said. Fellas! " Calm down, she has no idea what is going on said Edward! They started arguing, and Brockie told them to cut it out! We will have to watch when she has no idea what will hit her," he said with an evil grin. “Brother Chad, Boss Hart. Please have some mercy!” Boss Hart laughed. “Someone here actually knows about us?” “Brother Chad and Boss Hart are Buckwood’s new upstarts. Who wouldn’t know about the both of you?” Eddie quickly replied. “How does a little kid like you know about me anyway?” Covey said while putting a faint smile and sized Eddie up. “Brother Chad, my father is Alvin King. He ate a meal with you before!” Eddie swiftly replied. “Oh? The Alvin King that wholesales seafood? I think I’ve met him before.” Covey said calmly.

“Hello? I’m guessing this is the amazing and wonderful ‘Dolicto’ we all just spent six and a half hours hearing about?” “I guess…?” Michael answered. “I don’t know what Dolcito means. This is Michael. Who are you?” The voice on the other end let out an almost annoyed sigh. “This is Eddie’s brother, and I’d like you to know he’s been absolutely insufferable this whole trip. So, I’m guessing our father talked to you? Can we expect to see you for the holiday?” Michael could hear Edwardo’s voice in the background. It was almost kind of cute, but it made him feel bad for waiting so long to talk to him.

“Might as well that we reveal them now since we had time.” Everyone glanced at each other to see who would speak first. “Got a story for that shiny metal arm, Brock?” Alex began. Finally! Someone dared to ask. All eyes fell on him with ears eager to listen. Brock gazed at the ground while grasping his metal hand. “Where do I start?” he began with a melancholic voice. “I was the best football player in Southern California. We won many games. I even got a scholarship… until a car crash on that night. Our fault, actually. We partied so hard. It cost me an arm and my friend named Chan.” That struck our hearts that they sank from our chest.

I ask playfully. He shoots me a sideways glance. “Guess you’ll have to wait and see, princess.” A smirk tugs at his lips. I’m starting to learn that there are a few different versions of Brock. There’s this one- my personal favorite. The one that’s sarcastic and snarky. The one who likes to play and laugh. Then there’s the broody guy that shuts down. The intense one. The one who is so crippled by his past that he can’t move into the future. And then there’s the one that’s completely devoid of emotion, like a goddamn robot. All business all the time. That last one scares me a little. He’s hard and ruthless- I feel like he could watch the life drain from someone’s eyes without flinching.

Dave grated through clenched teeth, his eyes going straight to the crying Sara who was now wrapped up in the hands of Lily comforting her. Dave sat in the assistant principal’s office for almost two hours, sitting across the desk from Mr. Roberts, his blank stare, and apparent lack of any emotions, after a sudden outburst of violence like he just unleashed, and the idea, quite frankly, scared the shit out of the older man.
