Selene's Chosen Queen

Selene's Chosen Queen

Annie Jagerthe lycans queen
“Second floor houses the unmated warriors, in single rooms, we have four guest suites that have small kitchenettes, and six small apartments for any families that would prefer to live here. Usually, they are just used when we get new pack members, while they wait for a house to be built, but I like to keep them open just in case. And down at the very end is the... orphanage of sorts.” Orphans? “What do you mean orphanage?” “We have had a few rogue attacks that have left kids as orphans. We try to reunite them with other family members, as quickly as possible, but it sometimes takes a while, especially if we have to track the families down in other packs. So, we have a few smaller rooms for t

The First Human Luna

The First Human Luna

A few months have passed since the planning of our orphanage. I have named it Hilda’s Home, after my mother. I have placed a portrait of her that Harvey painted for me for our first wedding anniversary at the front door, and this is my home as much as it is the children that reside here. Emily splits her time working with me, between being a mother to her two boys and working at the orphanage as a doctor. Beta Tom works as her assistant and bodyguard. Harvey and I do our best to split our duties evenly, but he is here as often as I am.

ACCIDENTALLY HIS MISTRESS

ACCIDENTALLY HIS MISTRESS

For two months, I dared to hope that my prayers were finally answered, that I had found a place where I might belong. But then, his wife returned, that's when I realized this was supposed to be an orphanage or foster home. She complained bitterly, revealing that she had set up the home to exploit orphans not to take care of them. But instead Charles consistently brought home street rats, rather than those who would bring in government funding. Charles begged me to register with the government, promising that it would bring in the much needed compensation and that I also needed identification.

Travails of Oluwole

Travails of Oluwole

I think I would have to have to start the story a little bit backwards. A long time ago, more like 50 years before now. I and my brother were at an orphanage home for orphans. We never got to meet our real biological parents because we were raised and catered for in an orphanage home. Then we were living happily and playfully together. The orphanage was founded and funded by some religious authority I can remember that his name was Ben Ajayimore, said Charles. He was on his way to revealing a past he had put all behind him for decades.

I just binged your whole story! Poor little Wole, so much pain and his life is just beginning. Such an interesting premise (esp. Chap 10!! but I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't read that far yet), and I love the way you introduce your characters. I feel as if I know them.

This is by far the best book I've read in a very long time. I'm hooked! Chapter 2 almost made me cry. Now I'm wondering if Dr. Samuel and Wole will ever meet and how!? I'm also wondering if Wole will regain his memory and how will he react towards Charles when he does! Update soon??

Anything For The Alpha

Anything For The Alpha

Our meagre belongings packed into battered leather suitcases, we said goodbye to our so-called home. For the last time we stood together in the run-down town square. The desolate orphanage that had housed us for the past eighteen years was soon to be a distant memory. Grey, remorseless granite, swirling with red dust everywhere. Orphanage 8 had always looked like a gateway to somewhere evil even when they tried to smarten it up. “You going to miss the place?” Roxie asked, her red-lipped face set in a sour grimace, kicking at a pebble with her kitten heel.

This book had me hook from the first chapter. The story is packed with love, lust and betrayal... not everyone is who/what they seem and you don't know who to truly trust. Just enough heartbreak and redemption, and the perfect amount of spice. Will definitely be reading more of Alle in the future.

Another amazing story! I was skeptical at first having read the synopsis a few times if it would be something I would enjoy. But Alle blew it out of the water the twist and turns, the gut wrenching heartache for the characters. I cried and I smiled so much while reading this book.

Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn't Easy

Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isn't Easy

He even gave me something as a token of our love and told me that he'd use this to find me again in the future. "What happened after that?" "Nothing." Bonnie shrugged and said, "Children don't mean what they say most of the time." She was certain that no one in this world would remember such a gullible promise made during childhood as clearly as she did. Bonnie let out another sigh. "I still remember the name of the orphanage I was at; it's called Love and Kindness Children's Home. Unfortunately, that place was scrapped years ago." "Love and Kindness Children's Home?" Theo furrowed his brows, suddenly finding this name strangely familiar.

Dating The Villain

Dating The Villain

She can ask for anything for herself, but she went here for something that does not even involve her anymore. “My home orphanage means the world to me, Mr. Ortega. That has been my home for almost my whole life, but I can’t help them now. I-I don’t have the m-money…” She looked like she was about to cry, but she was keeping her head up strong. “I c-can d-do anything in return, just help my home.”

THIS. BOOK. DESERVES. A. LOT. OF. VIEWS I admire the author's writing style because the story is well-written. You can easily go with the flow because there are no bothersome errors. The title is catchy and intriguing that makes you want to explore the story itself. Kudos to the author!
Frankie Nero.
Great read. I love how you took your time in character development. Its one of the things I admire in fiction. I also loved the fact that the clichés were minimised. I think I fell in love with Sofia at one point. She's the definition of woman power.

Beautifully Unfinished

Beautifully Unfinished

Bye-bye internship. Since today was my day off, I decided to volunteer on Heaven-sent. It was an orphanage where I grew up. Yes, technically I was an orphan. My mother died after giving birth to me and my father was a horrible drunkard so they put me here when I was only seven and my dad lost custody of me. He eventually died because of lung cancer when I was ten. An old couple, Mr. & Mrs. Hemingway, took me out from the orphan when I was ten. They were very nice to me. They took care of me, gave me food and sheltered me. When they died, I was sixteen, so I decided to live on my own and support myself.

I was much more intrigued about what they have been through, especially with Callie who was said to be sexually abused by one of the priest who runs the orphanage. “Callie Alexandra Colton and Claire Elizabeth Colton found a new home in the orphanage Home of Little Miracles under the supervision of the head priest, Father Harry Jefferson, who ran the orphanage in Indianapolis since most of their relatives died from the fire. Claire Elizabeth Colton was adopted only at eight months by the couple named Judith “Judy” Pingries and Aaron Pingries who were tourists on Indianapolis that time. The couple was struggling to have their own child so they decided to pay Home of Little Miracles a visit in

I waited for Davian and leaned into him when he wrapped his hands around me. “Where is Ronan?” Davian asked and Grandma turned to him with a smile. “He is at the orphanage. He will be brought back in the evening” Grandma answered and continued talking to Harvey. “Orphanage?” Davian and Isa asked at the same time. “My Grandmother has an orphanage home she sponsors privately not far from here. Ronan is friends with most of the kids there. When we were here, they would either come here or Little Ro would go over to play” I explained.
