Foundling

The lassitude that had once filled him turned cold, replaced with dread, and he became impatient with himself and his complacency. “What in the stars catches your eye, Master Poe?” Durham asked, returning from storing the cookware in the hollow seat of the lead wagon. Poe smiled. He had told them many times to call him Poe, just Poe, but his father had refused such ease, demanding they be respectful. But even so, saying his name had the ring of familiarity, comfort, trust. His mood lightened a little. It was because of that familiarity that he spoke before his thoughts could leash his errant tongue. “I see the Dawn of Tears.”

Just need to be edited, overall I love it, it has it's originality, it's start like some crazy sitcom and ends up having this climax, my favourite character has to be Goblin, I like how you portrayed his character, he's someone who was hurt because of the werewolves and vampires issues, overall nice

Audacity

Audacity

[POV Adrian] ----- This morning I sat on the sofa in the waiting room of the apartment, waiting for Fany to come pick me up as usual. What happened last night disappointed me. Disappointed… a sentence that rarely crosses my mind. Because after Father's death, I didn't expect much from this world. Now… somehow I want to bite something. Someone stepped on my shoes, then sat on the sofa next door. It turned out to be him. "What's with that folded face? Is it hard to wake up in the morning to put on that annoying look?" asked Fany, a mischievous smile raise at her face.

Marked From Birth

Marked From Birth

She looked at Elara and saw only a stranger with a sword. “The mind is a noisy place,” a voice whispered—not in her ears, but in the marrow of her bones. “I am the peace you never asked for. I am the end of the song.” Audrey clutched her head. The "Silence" was a psychic predator. It was eating the connections between thoughts. It was eating the bond. She looked at the silver statue of her husband. If she couldn't reach him, if she couldn't find the "vibration" of his soul, he would remain a monument in a dead land forever.

MIDNIGHT: Whispers from the Dark Sea

MIDNIGHT: Whispers from the Dark Sea

The man finished. 'Beautiful enchanting melody,' Edwardo repeated the words in his head. It definitely sounded like sirens. He quickly waved the thought away. Maybe that was what the perpetrator wanted him to think. It could have been anyone. A sorcerer could easily make that happen, a witch even. "And you all heard that melody?" He asked. "Yes, Your Majesty," they chorused. Of course, they would. "So you think the melody has something to do with the killings?" Edwardo asked again.

REBIRTH: This time I will be a Witch!

"Ohh... hmmm. I-I w- was just... I was just... I was just having a hard time understanding something that I have read from the book. I was busy pondering over it, that is why I was in a daze." Audrey tried her best not to stutter as she gave her friends an on the spot lie with a straight face. "Errr... I think you would really have a hard time understanding something if you would read a book that way." Niccoli said to Audrey as he looked at the book that she was holding. The others also looked at the book in Audrey's hand and it was only at that time did they noticed what was wrong with the book. "MEOW" [You are reading the book upside down, little lass.]

Whisper of Thoughts

Whisper of Thoughts

I recorded the melody, layering the notes with the specific rhythmic pauses we had invented as children to communicate without words. The light is fading from the stone, and I walk the empty halls alone. But in the dark, I hear your name,The ghost of love, the dying flame. If time has stolen what we knew,I’ll burn the world to get to you. I played the recording back. It sounded haunting, a thin, lonely line of sound that carried the weight of everything I was losing. It was the only way to remind her that I was still here, somewhere underneath the code and the protocols. It was a beacon for two ghosts lost in the same graveyard.

The Ultimate Cure: A New Husband

The Ultimate Cure: A New Husband

He couldn't move yet—only lie flat on the bed, his arms too weak to lift. After washing her hands, Adriana took out her e-reader. "I'll read to you. What would you like to hear?" His lifeless gaze remained fixed on the pale ceiling, his voice hoarse. "Read me some poems by Lowoe." "Okay." Adriana took a sip of water and cleared her throat. She didn't use the e-reader often—it was mostly Chris who read from it. When she opened The Collected Poems of Lowoe, she saw he had already read nearly half of it.

I’ll say it again, i don’t know why there are no reviews. Almost finishing it, this story is so good it needs to be published in hard cover. It had me crying my eyes out, holding my breath for so long I forgot to breathe, and I’m still hooked… truly awesome work

This story had been so good, I binged it straight through. The female lead was strong, things were working out, but then twists and turns and things fell apart. I’m rooting for Francesco but after 600 chapters I’ve been taking a break. I don’t know how many years it’ll take before things resolve

Daddy's Forbidden Little Pet

Daddy's Forbidden Little Pet

“After wrap I take the train if you take the train.” She should have asked about the end date, the next booking, the way jobs scattered people. Instead she kissed him mint-cool and let him go into the mist at 2:03 because nine-forty was real. The next morning the booth was just a booth. Eden put the headphones on. The reader — museum audio, fifty, kind — sat on the stool and spoke the man’s lines with the emotional range of a well-built bench. It was perfect. It was sterile. Through the glass Kit sat in the chair with his face on, faders moving, talkback crisp.
