Edward felt a great deal of guilt over his carelessness. Rona and Scarlett exchanged confused glances, but neither said anything more. After listening to him, Scarlett went inside the house whereas Edward spent some time chatting with Rona. The cottage has a beautiful herb garden with sitting arrangements where Rona usually treats his patients. Once getting inside, Scarlett tried the elixir and was pleased by its effects.
