I am a predator stalking my prey. Edward throws another combination of punches. “Hmm… pathetic,” I say as I block all of them and attack him. The whole thing is even getting funny now. I cannot believe that I thought he was so strong. It is so easy to dodge his punches and defend myself now. I hit him in the stomach, then the chest, then catch him with an uppercut on his groin that makes him squeeze himself in pain Edward stumbles away from me and I notice that the murmuring of the crowd is getting louder. To them, doom is coming, and I am not going to debunk the fact. They all turned their back against me when I need them, I will bring doom to their doorstep.

”I travel once in a while, scheme, give the reporters a field day and watch television dramas. Edward chuckled, bringing his full attention to me. ”And you call me boring?“ ”I still have a bit more fun than you.“ ”Alright. Let's both do things we haven't done before.“ ”Like what?“ ”When was the last time you exercised?“ I glanced away, unable to stand the thought of exercising. It was too hard and painful. ”So, you will start exercising as from tomorrow morning,“ Edward decided. ”What do you say to a simple morning jog?“

“Getting slow, Asher?” Asher blocked the strike with ease, shoving Eddie back. “Still faster than you.” Asher’s strikes were powerful but controlled, while Eddie relied on quick jabs and unpredictable moves. At one point, Eddie swung low, trying to sweep Asher off his feet, but Asher jumped effortlessly, landing with a spin that sent Eddie stumbling back. I cheered. “That’s it, darling! Show him who’s king!” A smirk played on Asher’s lips. “Always, my queen.”

“Vivian, you’re smart indeed, but why did you treat me like a fool? Do you think that I’d allow Doctor Roberto to keep my file? If it were you, would you? How about the dirty businesses in Levin Enterprise? How could you possibly know about them?” Edward was now standing in front of her, but Liam would not allow him to approach her, so he went forward and shielded her from him. “B*stard!” he scolded Edward and threw a punch at his face. However, as Edward smiled coldly, he tilted his head slightly to avoid that punch. He then raised his head to block Liam’s attack and yanked him aside vigorously. Edward acted so fast that his movements were almost blurry. As a result, Liam fell.

Cindy was too shocked by the sudden slap that she did not get up immediately. "Edward, you slapped me?!" She went mad. But without giving her audience, Edward stormed out of the ward. His eyes were red with anger and regret. He really did not want to lose Daisy. But he has been so stupid. Outside, Edward did not know where to go. He did not know whether to leave the hospital or not. There was no sign of Ellen anywhere when he stepped out and just the thought that she has gone to report what she saw was getting him scared out of his wits.

He couldn't lose-not with Clara's name still echoing in his thoughts. Edward's eyes gleamed in the moonlight, dark with focus. He moved like a shadow, his larger frame belying the speed and precision of his strikes. As Robin lunged again, Edward sidestepped once more, using the momentum to slam his shoulder into Robin's side. The impact reverberated through Robin's body, driving him backward with a startled grunt. "You're too predictable, Robin,” Edward growled through their shared mindlink, his tone sharp as the swipe of his claws. "You've always been."

Edward froze where he was, staring at Raymond as if he saw a ghost. "...because you never even got that chance, am I right?" Raymond turned and nailed those black eyes on Edward. "Damn you--" Edward spat, but Raymond cut him off coldly-- "Don't make me punch you so fast," said Raymond coldly, "I'm not done with you yet." Edward pursed his lips before he replied reluctantly: "Of course we have, not that that's any of your busi--" "Then why did you have to sabotage yourself in the contest to force her to stand up for you?" Raymond cut off Edward calmly.

“Jenny! You ungrateful little rat! Your aunt treated you so well, and this is how you repay her? You’re going to drive me to my grave!” Infuriated, Edward grabbed a water glass from the table and threw it at Jenny. “You old fool! Do you think you can hit me? Go ahead and die already! The sooner you’re gone, the sooner I can get my inheritance! I wouldn’t have to live like this if you were dead.” With that, she slapped Edward twice, hard. I stared in disbelief at what was happening. Was Jenny completely out of her mind? “Y-You…” I watched as Edward struggled to breathe, gasping until he was barely drawing in air at all. Suddenly, I realized something was terribly wrong.

The arms still wrapped around my waist. I turned around to look at the man standing behind me, holding me only to find Edward in there. What is he doing here? He looks so calm from his expression but his eyes. His eyes look like he's gonna murder someone right now. He left me there and moved towards the guy and started to punch him. The man fell to the ground, but that didn't stop Edward. He started to kick him like a crazy man and then choke him. All while saying " How the fuck.. How the fuck you dared to touch my Lia..."
