“Oh… This road is a handful. How many?” “Just two, sir.” “We have spare tires, right? Change the tires and let’s leave. Quickly,” Edward ordered before getting into his car and sitting, waiting for the driver to get done with the tires so they could leave. The driver started working on the tires and changing them. Edward waited for some minutes and when he didn’t hear any more noise, he called, “James, are you not done with the tires yet?” He received no response from his driver and his brows furrowed. What was wrong with this driver?

They felt Edward’s intensity, his rage, and determination inspiring them to fight with everything they had. As the night grew darker, Edward stood alone outside the temporary hideout, staring at the starless sky. In the silence, his mind was filled with Cecilia’s face—her soft smile, her gentle laughter that always calmed his anger, even though he knew she could never love him back. “I’ll save you, Cecilia,” he whispered to the night. “I’ll destroy anyone who dares to touch you.” Edward went back inside, preparing his final weapon, ensuring everything was flawless. Taking a deep breath, he checked his watch.

LANA Edward grinned at me and then casually replied, "I don't know for sure, but if everything goes according to plan, you should be expecting his ashes. I mean, I doubt there'd be much left after being bombed to smithereens." Then, suddenly, he exclaimed, "Boom!" He winked at me and turned around, walking away. My heart was pounding wildly in my chest. Fear and anxiety surged through me. I closed my eyes, desperately wishing all of this was just a nightmare. I struggled fiercely against the ties binding me to the chair.

His eyes, still on me. “Ready?” Ed asked as he climbed in beside me. “Yes, I'm ready.” He arched a brow leaning closer to fix my seatbelt. “You have got a lot to tell me, sis.” “Wh… what?” “Don't play dumb, Ella.” He looked deep in my eyes. “I've got the whole day.” He turned the key. The engine started. I looked at the main door again. Edward was already gone.

m Edward suddenly pulled over and stared at me. He removed his hand which was placed on the car steer and typed something on his iPad. "I'm driving Cecelia, and as for Mister Black and Ezekiel…… they are going to be home soon okay". When I was done reading….. Edward canceled his previous text and wrote something else on his iPad. "Please don't ask me any questions while we are driving okay. I'll have to stop for me to reply, and I really don't want to do that, so please leave all the questions you want to ask until we get to my parent's place". He types.

Enzo The engine of my truck hummed softly in the background as Luke and I sat in silence, our eyes peeled for any sign of Edward’s pickup. The dashboard clock read 11:37 PM, and we had been at this for hours. Fast food wrappers sat on the dashboard, the scent of greasy french fries and burgers filling the car. I was hell-bent on finding Edward. But he hadn’t shown his face again so far, at least not here, near the gas station where I saw him before, and I was beginning to lose hope.

Paranoia. Shrugging off the unease, Edward turned to the boat’s controls and started the engine. The motor roared to life, and the boat surged forward, cutting through the water like a blade. But just as he began to relax, the boat jolted, shuddering as if something had snagged it from below. The engine sputtered, and with a gut-wrenching lurch, it went dead. “What the hell?” Edward muttered, his voice low but edged with tension. He tried the ignition again, but the engine refused to cooperate, its silence heavy against the vast expanse of water.

"I'm going to Makenzi, Mom!" Edward replied with fierce determination, and that shocked everyone there. "You can't do that. You just woke up; you can't put too much strain on your body so soon. We'll find a way to solve Liana's problem; you just need to stay put!" his grandfather advised.

The engine roared to life, and the car pulled away from the Edward Ashford mansion. Only then did I realize something. Unlike Edward, who always traveled with a personal driver, Cedric preferred to drive himself.

Reynold must be in there in the middle of the blaze. Edward got up and didn't care about Diego anymore. He let go of the man and ran straight into the building. Meanwhile, Zean's men had just arrived. Zean gave orders to his men with a single gesture that meant "Finish them all!" Edward entered the building and charged into the flames. His fatherly intuition told him that Reynold must be in there. "Dear God, please. Give me a clue as to where Reynold is!" Edward searched for Reynold's whereabouts while praying. He was really close to breaking down as the fire grew bigger.
