The Billionaire's Hidden Vows

The Billionaire's Hidden Vows

Savannah whirled. The beds were empty. The monitors blank. Echoed footsteps died. In the eerie, flickering red, realization struck— They’d vanished. *** The forest that night wasn’t alive—it was ancient, watching. Eva followed, tremors on her lips and fury in her little heart. Mira-Eve moved in front—silent, certain—like someone who had practiced walking ghosts. Mossy roots snagged their footing. Fog curled low, knotted through trees. Cold wind rattled overhead. Lightning revealed mire-laced eyes and lithic branches.

The Betrayed Luna's Second Chance

The Betrayed Luna's Second Chance

Suddenly, a distant howl echoed through the forest, sending shivers down my spine and breaking the eerie stillness, and then the air hung thick with an unsettling quiet, occasionally interrupted by the whisper of wind through the twisted branches. I sighed, still on high alert, but moved forward as the gnarled trees closed in on me, their eerie shapes turning the forest into a maze and challenging my determination. A sudden chill ran through my spine, and goosebumps prickled across my skin, as if invisible eyes were watching my every move. I wouldn't be surprised if that were true because the Forest of Darkness hid secrets—supernatural secrets—and each step deeper only heightened the mystery

Ellie Parkinson and The Realm of Evil

Ellie Parkinson and The Realm of Evil

We reached the forest of Dracon after about three hours. It appeared eminently ancient, and unlike any other forest, I had seen or been camping with my parents. It emitted an aura of substantial murkiness, despite being enlightened with the sunlight. The trees looked like beings who had been cursed and doomed for a prolonged time.

The Wolf Who Shouldn’t Love

The Wolf Who Shouldn’t Love

Shadows of Betrayal ••• The forest had fallen into an uneasy calm. Dawn’s first light struggled through the dense canopy, casting muted streaks of amber and gray across the twisted roots and moss-laden ground. Aella’s fingers trailed along the Heartwood as she moved, feeling its subtle pulse beneath her palms, like a living heartbeat echoing her own. The northern ridge had been secured, but whispers of danger threaded through the forest, cold and persistent.

Shadows & Secrets

Shadows & Secrets

The forest itself seemed to pulse with a malevolent energy, its shadows lengthening as they neared the Bloodmoon Pack’s territory. Tall, ancient trees loomed overhead, their gnarled branches twisting like skeletal fingers clawing at the sky. The usual nocturnal chorus—crickets, owls, the rustle of small creatures—had fallen eerily silent, leaving only the rhythmic thud of paws and the whisper of leaves. The moon’s light, usually a guiding beacon, seemed tainted, its glow dimmed by a sinister haze that clung to the landscape. Aurora’s senses, sharper than ever, caught a faint chill, like a shadow passing over her soul. Her wolf’s ears twitched, picking up a low hum, as if the forest were hold

Layla's Destined Lover

Layla's Destined Lover

It turned out that as she ran deeper into the forest, she noticed something unusual. It was too quiet around. The vegetation carried a gloomy aura. All the leaves and flowers were uniformly black. She had heard about it. The Dark Forest. The burial ground of werewolves. A den for the fiercest monsters... That's what was recorded about this forest. She knew she didn't have the ability to explore this place, so the thought of retreating was the first thing that came to mind when she realized where she was. But as Layla wanted to leave, a dizzy spell hit her.

Married to a Jinn

Married to a Jinn

The grass caressed her feet and a smile softened in Lia's eyes. A gust of hot air brushed her cheek as the sky turned pale yellow, then crimson and, close to breathing, electric indigo. "Where is this place?" Derek asked. "My favorite place!" Lisa replied. Derek looked around, their surroundings were full of bushes and trees. There is no sign of people around, he heard some rumors that this forest is full of spirits and ghosts. "The dense bush is your favorite spot?" Derek called out, jaw sagging.

Mated to my Ex's Lycan King Dad

Mated to my Ex's Lycan King Dad

Grace I drifted through the darkness before the cold of a night wind swept around me. As the darkness parted, I grew colder. Dead, gnarled trees stretch up around me. The ground was dead. The bark was black. The desolate, eerie forest stretched endlessly before me. Its skeletal trees reached for the moonlight, casting long, haunting shadows. The silence was oppressive, broken only by the distant murmur of unseen creatures. I could hear my heart pounding my chest. My breath fogged the air.

It's a good book but very short chapters. in all honesty, you can skip 5 chapters, and they will still talk about the same thing in the next chapter. I got bored in the beginning, but if you keep reading, it gets better.

I liked the book. However, I felt that things were wrapped up in a hurry. There was no explanation how set came back and no epilogue to finish up the last few strings of the kids and the castle. Love it overall just wished a few more things were explained.

MOONBOUND SECRETS

MOONBOUND SECRETS

Zara’s POV The forest feels alive. Not in the way it usually does—not with the rustle of leaves or the distant call of birds. No, this is something darker, something primal. The trees seem to lean in, their branches twisting like claws, and the air is thick with the scent of decay. The twins cling to me, their small bodies trembling, their marks pulsing faintly with a dark, malevolent light. “It’s coming,” Silas whispers again, his voice barely audible over the low, guttural growl that echoes through the trees.

Fated Reborn, His Unwanted Mate

Fated Reborn, His Unwanted Mate

Ryker’s POV I stood at the edge of the forest, gazing out at the endless stretch of trees that reached toward the horizon. I was on the ninth island on our list—my last hope of finding any sign of the Capris Coven. The air was thick with the smell of wet earth and decaying leaves, yet I detected no hint of werewolf scent, no trace of a pack’s presence. The island was a tangled maze of forest, with vines and creepers twisting around ancient trees. The heavy canopy above filtered the sunlight, casting the forest floor in a dim, emerald glow. I had to push carefully through the underbrush, using my keen senses to navigate the dangerous terrain.
